Wow.. Doesnt even work.. Wasted my time creating account to download a program that doesnt even work... SMH

since there are dead java links provided without any further help to get this even started i would rate it with zero stars

Worked for me once, but when I updated Java to 64 bit so I could run a 64 bit game through Resorep, I couldn't open Resorep. To elaborate: It told me that the game would crash if I tried to run 64 bit on a 32 bit Java, so I updated it, and now I cant at all. I am currently running a 64 bit Java Windows 11 system, and I have been trying all year to figure out how to use it, as this seems like an amazing program.. If you could update Resorep for Win 11 64, and 32 bit support, that'd be fantastic.

how the hell are you supposed to use this? no instructions or anything

took me a few hours to figure out but to run this, follow these steps;

1. Install every version of visual c++ from this website docs.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170
2. install the latest version of 64 bit windows 10 java from this website java.com
3. download resorep and extract in a tools folder
4. in the windows 10 folder in resorep, create a text document and rename it to "run.bat"
5. edit that .bat file and paste in this "javaw -jav resorep.jav"
6. Save and close
7. Run the .bat file by double clicking
8. Wait while it executes
9. use the .bat to run resorep at all times

Does not work without a few dozen workarounds, will not use again.

can someone help me with step 5 on ergaikan's instructions?

my path would be "Local Disk (C:)/Program Files/Java/jdk- 17.0.3.1" idk if i wrote it correctly can someone write it out correctly so i can just copy and paste it into the .bat file?

1: Download and install the JDK 8u321
2: Enter the JDK "bin" folder and rename "java.exe" to "java8.exe".
3: Copy the resorep.jar and the DLLs to the JDK "bin" folder.
4: Create a ".txt" file and change the extension to ".bat".
5: Edit it with Notepad and write this:
cd "<put the path to your JDK folder here>/bin"
.\java8 -jar resorep.jar
6: Save the file and run it with admin privileges.

Can't get this to run with Reshade. Have tried numerous things like renaming dxgi.dll to d3d11.dll, etc. Really annoying I have to choose between between shaders or texture mods. Does anyone know a fix?
