Underwater Peril is a ryona kink that involves a person tied up, or in a unique situation where the victim is on the verge of - or is - drowning. The kinks origin is unclear but it dates as far back as Disneys Alladin, where Alladin is tied up and thrown into the ocean. This also can be debated whether it started with The Little Mermaid as well where Ariel gets her new legs and obviously can't breathe underwater anymore. Disney seems to be a big contributor to this and has led to many Underwater Peril videos and Images. This has led to real NSFW creators filming females in underwater peril and selling them for money. That of course is all acted.
Why do people like this kink?
I've asked myself that question several times and I think it's the thrill of watching someone try to escape but ultimately fail. Sometimes the image or video doesn't have a conclusive end which leads to the imagination of the victim's untimely end.
