Very good question.Chun-Li has always been my favorite character since I started playing SF. Ryu has always been my second favorite. I didn't start to ship the two as a couple until after I read a couple fanfics and saw a lot of art work of them together. They more I dove into it, the more I loved it.. But the one story that inspired me love for the RyuxChun-Li Pairing (and this comic) would be the fanfiction storyEnd of a Journey, by Psycho BlueThe story takes place post SFIII, where Ryu feels lost on his journey to becoming a warrior, where Chun-Li feels rooted in taking care of kids, and it's their time together where they find they were meant to be together.I love how both characters are strong and iconic fighters, both lost their father figures at an early age (Chun li with her father, Ryu with Gouken).
