hell i im surprised there hasnt been any mods for this game considering all the girls are just lovely and are just begging to be modded

Drop me saves near the end with unlocked all heroes and costume etc stuff, and events(dialogues) where is all characters used in 2d dialogues. Because i need it to view for work/testing, and i look what i can do about it.

I've been messing around with the textures hoping to find out how to even mod them
METHOD 1 (found on the steam site)
-take cl3 file
-get hex editor
-extract dds file
-edit
-put it back in cl3 file (somehow) using hex editor
This method really tested my patience..

therefore I've discovered that you can just forget about the cl3 file completely
METHOD 2 (Recomended)
-delete cl3 file
-use 001 folder
-edit DDS files
-enjoy

so turns out its actually really easy

my skills however suck....
Anyone else willing to try?

how did you extract using the hex editor (i have HxD)?

I had HxD aswell but ran into the same problem so I ditched the cl3 file and hex editing alltogether and just used the 001 folder

the cl3 file seems to work as a stand in for the 001 folder with the textures
RECOMMENDED: delete the cl3 file and just edit the DDS files in the 001 folder, works like a charm

gimp cant load the those dds files.
I cant tell why that happened since i can mod using other dds files normally (like those extracted from umod or texmod)

Gimp isent compatible with DDS unless you have the right plugin
even then some people still have problems


try Paint.net? ...its free

an idea, you can check the texture canvases posted for hyperdimension neptunia series,
some posted ones (eg. on deviant art) might help you dealing with "some" areas.

Here is what i have

Just unzip the file in the winrar and past it in Fairy Fencer F\Game\Model\CHARA\021\TEXTURE\001
and make sure you delet the file 001.cl3
