There's an anime called Nanatsu no Taizai (aka Seven Deadly Sins) that has some pretty good ryona. [SPOILER=not too detailed but just in case]There are a couple of prominent female knight enemies who often get their asses handed to them whenever they show up.  Also one of the main characters is a female giant who takes a few beatings herself.[/SPOILER]
