Hello,
I'll start by saying that I think MMORPGs have probably the best death animations among any other genre. Thus, me and another guy have thought "what if we come up with some MMO classes and races with relative death animations?" and thus this is why I'm here.
Death animations are divided by race, with each race (except humans) getting two unique ones for specific classes.
Races:
Human: nothing to explain here, really.
Elf: usual tall, thin babes with pointed ears. More like wood elf than high elf.
Drow: dark elves like you've already seen dozens of times.
Kitsune: think Ahri from League of Legends. Women with fox ears, whiskers on their face, and three very big and fluffy fox tails.
Kat: catgirl lolis. That's basically it.
Celestial: pseudo-angels. They're tall women with halos and small wings made of light.
Succubus: demon girls with blueish skin and horns.
Classes:
Fighter classes: Lancer, Duelist, Berserker, Knight, Paladin
Arcane classes: Elementalist: Warlock, Summoner, Bard
Rogue classes: Assassin, Ranger, Spellblade, Ninja
Alright so these are it.
Human
The human is hit hard, they stagger back grasping at a wound in their mid section/chest, and before long drop to one knee, she props herself up with one hand on the ground the other still grasping at her wound.
Fighter classes: staggers back to her feet before groaning and dropping her arms loose to her sides and falling face first onto the ground.
Lancer: the lancer on one knee instead of propping herself up, leans on her lance for support. She stands back up ever so slightly and takes a step forward using the lance as a crutch, still curling in pain at the rib/chest area. Before letting out a weak groan and sliding down her lance and falling to her side.
Berserker: the human berserker clutching her wound screams out and stands back up and starts to move almost as if she's about to charge like a wild animal, but her body is defying death and she takes a false step mid-run, falling over and still filled with rage starts clawing through the dirt crawling forward before going numb and limp, her head hitting the ground face pressed into the dirt.
Arcane classes: the human is hit and drops to both knees, holding her wound with both hands, she then looks at her blood stained hands and falls to her side with a weak and desperate moan.
Rogue classes: the human collapses to her knees and quickly crumbles to a crawling position, she starts heaving almost as if coughing and desperately tries to crawl away before as a last effort of staying alive she reaches out and screams in pain and agony, hitting the floor one arm outstretched.
Elf
The elf is viciously struck down, their dexterous elven grace shines through however. The killing blow sends the elf flying back, her delicate and slender frame hits the ground and bunces spinning sideways through the air making her land on her face her body hitting the ground after. She propps herself up to a kneeling position with her legs spread and hands digging into her thighs as she fights to stay alive, she gasps a few times before giving out a weak "GAHHH" and falls face first onto the ground, her arms at her sides.
Duelist: the elf after being sent flying and landing on her knees weakly stumbles back onto her feet, her hand trembling she raises her weapon back into a desperate mockery of her martial posture, shaking all the while as pain pulses through her dying form, she stumbles a single step forward and gives out a mix of a cough and groan before coughing up blood from the internal damage and falls back to her knees, digging her weapon in the dirt holding herself up for a few seconds more before letting go and collapsing face first.
Ranger: The elf on her knees after being sent flying is violently breathing akin to a weak attempt at staying alive, unable to keep herself even kneeling she falls face first. Groaning while down she digs her hands into the ground and starts to claw forward and grabs her bow barely rising to one knee with one arrow knocked, but her hands give out and she gives out a "GYAH" noise as she dies weapon in hand and falls to her side before her dead body rolls over to lay face first.
Drow
The drow screams out as her opponent best her, she is seething with rage and a strange sense of pleasure from the masochistic joy in pain. She very slowly starts to lower her body into a leaning position, breathing heavy and groaning constantly. Starring at her opponent, she can no longer control her actions as her inner impulses take over. Sitting on her heels. She spreads her legs and rests on her knees, before giving out a confused scream of an overload of pleasure and pain as her open wound kills her and she falls backwards still on her knees, before dying convulsing and moaning provocatively on her back.
Assassin: the drow assassin is struck and stumbles back with a deep moan, she falls to her knees and her chest heaves, the same confused mixture of moaning in pleasure and groaning in pain fill the air, but before dying she leans back and stabs herself with both her blades in her chest/upper ribcage and gives out a winded groan mixed with a gasp. She dies and her form falls forward curled up in the fetal position with her blades in her core.
Warlock: the drow warlock is struck and starts to gasp, while falling to her knees she groans and moans in confusion as her drow masochism takes over and she starts to enjoy the agony. As she sits on her heels and starts to cackle before rising up from her sitting on her heels to kneeling and screams out like a banshee and grasps her chest as if her heart just burst and gives out a winded moan of satisfaction as her dark magic kills her from within.
Kitsune
The kitsune is dealt a fatal blow, with a loud scream she is swept of her feet and lands on her back, she slowly rolls over to her front and gets up to all fours. Her guttural grunts akin with her animalistic nature. She strains to keep herself up as her tails start to go limp one by one. Her arms finally give out as she embraces the agony and gives out a "HGNNNNHHHH" sound as she goes limp face down her rear still in the air as her legs prop it up almost on display, as she fades away her last tail goes limp leaving her face first in the dirt, ass up in the air.
Summoner: the momentum rolls the Summoner face up, and she tries to prop herself up on an elbow. Groaning in pain, she stretches out her other arm, calling for one of her pets; she manages to pet it once before she falls limp with a wheeze, dead. As her pet tries to nudge her awake other spiritual animals appear and start climbing over her corpse, most prominently two birds start picking at her crotch and breasts, making her twitch with each peck.
Ninja: the ninja is swept off her feet and lands on her back she quickly gets back up ready to fight but slowly looks down at her mid section and then back up at her opponent. Still standing up in shock, she feels her tails go limp hitting the ground. She falls to the ground face first but tumbles onto her back and starts to squirm in pain before giving out a final scream as she reaches for the sky and goes limp flat on her back sprawled on the ground.
Kat
The kat's frail body is sent flying by the finishing blow, spinning in the air as she cries out. She lands, but the momentum keeps her rolling on the ground a couple times: on the last roll, her back arches in pain, legs stretched, and with a pitiful moan she lands on her side, unmoving.
Knight: after landing, she picks up her sword and shield and attempts to get back up, but her wounds prove to be too much for her. Her sword falls from her hand as she stumbles, planting itself in the ground. She falls forward, causing the pommel of her sword to strike her in the stomach. "UHHHNH!" she groans as the blow knocks her out, putting her out of her misery as she now lies bent over her weapon.
Elementalist: while in midair she creates a bubble of water to soften the fall, but this proves to be a fatal error. The Cat Loli is too wounded to swim out, and all she can do is clutch at her throat as she drowns in her own bubble. Her corpse floats face up for a couple seconds before the bubble bursts, landing pigeon-toed on the ground.
Celestial
The celestial cries out as the fatal blow pushes her back, shattering her halo. After the initial gasp, she falls to her knees, moaning all the way down; she stays like that for a moment, wavering as her wings dissipate, then falls on her back, one leg stretched out while the other is folded underneath her.
Paladin: she's still got some fight left in her as she falls to her knees, since she's still holding tightly onto her greatsword. She moans and groans in effort as she tries to prop herself up, but as her wings fade out so does she, falling to sit down on her heels; she lets out a sigh as her body bends forwards slightly, and she dies still kneeling. Cleric: her hands clasp in a praying motion as she falls onto her knees, but that doesn't last long as she topples forward, rolling to rest face up on the ground. Her right hand tries to reach out for the sky, but immediately falls down as, with a long sigh of release, her head lolls limply to the side.
Succubus
The succubus is struck a grievous wound in her heart. She stumbles back with a shocked expression on her face and lets out a deeply seductive moan. She pirouettes onto the ground landing onto her back, and starts to squirm while moaning with her sensually intriguing voice, as she squirms on the ground she arches her back and reaches out to her killer while doing a pseudo bridge. almost as if pleading for her quickly departing life. Before her body goes limp and flops to the ground.
Bard: the succubus spins and is sent spiraling to the ground, as she lays there squirming she stretches her body provocatively as she starts to moan intensely "GAH NYEHHH AHHH" she moans louder and faster as she places one hand between her legs while the other is pulling her hair still squirming on the ground, her melody of agony reaches a crescendo when her dying scream fills the air as she spreads her legs and digs her hands into the ground before going limp.
Spellblade: the succubus is sent spinning but on the way down, she lands on her sword. With a guttural groan she tries her hardest to stay alive and gets back to her knees, before arching her back and spreading her arms in a "kill me" pose while the blade pulses with magical lightning that makes her scream in a seductive tone yet with agony. As she is killed by her own magical blade she goes limp upright with the blade still stuck in her heart, her arms going limp along her sides along with her head resting on her supple breasts while kneeling.
