I've created my own set of zako units of various ranks with AI, and here they are, enjoy :)
This is part 1 of the zako ranks, the other parts will be uploaded in coming days.
Brownies:
they wear short, thin, brown, leather jackets and aren't heavily armed. They are only protected by their jacket and their pistol. They carry no additional rations on them. They also wear white pants and high heeled shoes, which don't help them. They are often useless in battle and are taken down easily. They are easily disposable and sacrificed in large numbers to attack heros. They are proud, but are also easily scared into simply surrendering. There are also Brownie leaders that wear black leather jackets with military style hats. These lead large waves of Brownies into battle, but are also relatively weak.
Brownies Death:
Brownies Death with Officer:
Light Guard:
They still wear brown leather, signifying their lower rank compared to most others, but they are a bit more advanced. They wear thicker leather that they believe will protect them in battle. Their coats are fur lined with hoods that they sometimes wear to feel safe. They carry a small backpack of first aid supplies and extra ammo for their pistols. Compared to the brownies, they also wear different, slightly more durable black pants and short brown boots. Some of them wear belts to secure their jackets in place. In battle, they are still disposable cannon fodder, but they can occasionally try to fire a few shots at the hero. However, they are doomed to fail, as they have extremely lousy aim and are too busy fussing over their own outfits. They also tend to surrender at the first sign of trouble, but do it less so. Some of them live on to become higher ranked zakos, but it is relatively rare. They are dispatched at the front of most battles, in order to slow the hero down or buy time. They are always defeated.
Light Guard Defeated:
Medium Guard:
Medium guards are known for being extremely arrogant in battle scenarios but are still relatively weak. They wear black leather jackets that are slightly oversized and have fur hoods. Additionally, they have black leather gloves and short black leather boots. They also wear crimson belts and a military-styled cap. They carry similar brown backpacks as the light guards, but they generally have a bit more food and ammo within them, as well as a spare leather jacket. They wear the same black pants as light guards. They are slightly less disposable, and are often used to guard locations or attack locations in large numbers. Some of them, as always, end up becoming higher ranked zakos. When meeting a hero, they tend to shoot blindly with rage with no brain cells, thus often running out of ammo before the hero even gets close. Then, they generally get KO'd very fast and with precision.
