Your hair looks very nice, I don't quite understand want you thnik is missing.

If you want to do some naruto style, maybe the shiny effect sould be bigger and interconected.

What I like about naruto style is how two colors and a few brief strokes make it clear how the hair flows.
That simplicity is missing for me, especially at the back of the head.
Well, back to the drawing board. ::)
