Sun Shang Xiang - Dynasty Warriors

There was a brief, poignant moment of silence before General Huang Gai's fire ships struck the vanguard of Cao Cao's impossibly massive fleet. Then came the roaring of flame and explosion and the screaming of frightened, dying men. Sun Shang Xiang, princess of Wu, could not see any of this as she hid on her brother's flagship, but she could hear every nauseating detail, causing her to rethink her brilliant plan of stowing along. Quan did not know his sister was on board, but even if he found out now, it was much too late to turn back. The battle for Chi Bi had begun.

Something struck their ship hard, causing Shang Xiang to stumble and fall on her buttocks. Her bow slipped out of her hand and slid along the floor a few feet, hitting a large crate. The violent sound of fighting erupted above her on the deck, and she realized they must have been boarded. She could hear Quan shouting orders to the troops above. "Brother!" she uttered, scrambling to her feet. She grabbed her bow and headed for the stairs.

A body was suddenly thrown down the stairs, covered in blood. Several men cheered as they emerged from the deck, charging down to finish the man off. Shang Xiang could tell by their dress that they were soldiers under Cao Cao. She gasped and swiftly knocked an arrow. The soldiers noticed her too late as her arrow soared and met one of them in the eye. He crumbled and tumbled down the stairs in a heap next to the soldier of Wu. The other men rushed down after her as she reached for another arrow. She stepped backwards, wide-eyed in fear as her trembling fingers failed time and time again to get a grasp on an arrow. She tripped and stumbled back as the three soldiers charged her. Now terrified, she opened her mouth to scream for help, but the man in the lead shot his hand out and clamped it over her mouth. Her scream was muffled as they forced her to the floor. They kicked her bow and quiver away, pinning her onto her back.

"Now what is a pretty girl like you doing here?" one of the men asked with a sick grin, still pressing his hand over her mouth.

"Must be the Lady Sun," one of the others said. "I hear she's a tomboy who loves to fight." Without warning, he clenched his hand into a fist and punched her hard in the stomach. She let out what would have been a sharp scream, but it came out muffled. Tears stung at her large, round eyes. "What are we going to do with her?"

"Have some fun with her, obviously," the third soldier said. He struck her in the eye, stunning her. She groaned lightly, and the first man released his hand from her mouth. Her vision was blurry and her head was pounding. She tried to lift her head up, but a blow to her mouth slammed it back down into the wood. The taste of blood flooded her mouth. Then the pain truly started. The three quickly and viciously started punching her all over; in her gut; in her side; in her small chest; in her face. She didn't even have the strength left to scream.

They flipped Shang Xiang over onto her belly and started raining down blows on her back. A pool of tears, blood and saliva started to pool under her face. Her fingers twitched with each strike, and she started mewling. After several minutes of this, the attacks stopped. She panted and wept as she awaited her fate. Would they kill her now that they were done playing? One grabbed her by the hips and roughly yanked upwards, pulling her buttocks up into the air. She gasped as the men cackled in delight. They flipped her skirt over her back and pulled her panties down to her knees. No, it seemed they would not kill her. Not yet. In the meantime, things were about to get much worse.
