Hello, a quick update on the above - we believe we've resolved the email issues, and have re-enabled the email verification part of user registration as a result (we had it turned off as of the 7th or so while we investigated the email issues). Everything should be up and running now. If any issues occur, they can be posted about in the above-mentioned Guest Room sub-forum - we still keep an eye on that and will resolve issues as necessary.For further details on what's been happening to make the site be on fire, I've posted a longer explanation in the Discord. TL;DR - site got hit by 2 unrelated things at the same time: a report to our hosting provider about some sort of spam crypto phishing scam (that didn't actually involved us, but used the site's redirector as an endpoint to try and mask it being a scammer), and our email provider blacklisting our server IP for some sort of abuse. We believe both issues are patched.
