I can't help you with just that amount of information. Could you take some screenshots of the error(s) and where you have Star Trek Online installed? Alternatively, you could manually install if the installer is throwing fits.

i tried downloading the manula install but it was just another copy of the easy installer.

the manual install seems not to have worked either. :(

Well, that's a rather odd error. First try running the installer as Administrator, and check to make sure any security software isn't blocking the installer from accessing the registry entry for STO or the directory where it's installed. If the error persists, do try using the manual install, it is decidedly NOT a copy of the easy install .exe, but rather files you manually copy over to your Localdata directory. See the included readme for detailed instructions.

How recent are we talking about? I haven't done any Romulan-specific things for a bit, the last specifically-Romulan stuff was back in May when Legacy of Romulus launched. Since then, there've been some general updates and a few new things here and there. The best way to see any mods you're interested in is, of course, to install them and play with them. Here are a couple general Romulan-themed screencaps, but they are by no means comprehensive.

I tried running as administrator, adn I copied the meehee file directorys to both the localdata directory and the live directory. didn't work. tried adding the other ones and they didn't work either.

turned off the antivirus and got the same error as i posted with the screenshot. could it be because it's installed on a solid state drive?

From the looks of your screenshot, it seems you don't even have a localdata folder in the Live directory. There are TWO localdata folders, one in ..\Cryptic Studios\localdata and one in ..\Cryptic Studios\Star Trek Online\Live\Localdata. The second one is the folder you need, the first one will NOT work. You may have to create the Localdata folder in your Live directory if it doesn't exist. Try creating that folder and run the installer again, that may fix things.

Also, does unmodified STO work for you? I would presume so, but it really should have created more folders in your live directory than it has by the looks of things... quite strange.

If you mean a toggle option from within the game, that's not possible, as many of the mod options depend on *.bin files which are only read once at game client launch, changing them when the game is running has no effect, the client must be restarted.

Unless you know which file corresponds to which mod (say, if you used the manual install method), then the best way to turn a mod on/off is to uninstall/reinstall. If you do know which file the mod uses, then of course, you can just remove/readd the file to turn the mod on and off.

the installer did not work but copying the localdata folder to the live folder and doing the manual install seems to have worked fine except feet. everyone is still wearing boots.

Password, are you aware that if you choose no clothing removal options in the installer it still removes the formal ware gown top?

This is because the formal wear top remover was/is included in the original nude mod by meehee. I suppose I should change that now, as there's no reason not to split that into its own mod component.

Just found this topic and started playing STO only around a week ago, again.

The mods are all pretty nice, I just noticed, that the breast jiggle, no matter which version, "crushes" the breasts while running. Means, moves them towards the torso and down. Looks rather odd.

Can this be fixed or is this an issue with how the Engine from STO handles jiggle stuff?

EDIT:

Maybe adjusting the rotation values? If I changed the -1 values to something lower, like -0.5, then the "crushing" was reduced. I might look a bit more into it.

I believe it is a limitation of STO's dynamic-bounce engine, but if you generate some custom jiggle setting(s) that alleviates the problem, which may be possible, then more power to you!

Nah, I doubt, that I can do that :P

Here is my current test.xml from dynbouncer:

Code:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?><DynBouncerGroupInfo xmlns:c="http://datacontract.gib.me/cryptic" xmlns:a="http://schemas.microsoft.com/2003/10/Serialization/Arrays" xmlns:i="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns="http://datacontract.gib.me/startrekonline">
  <InfoName>test</InfoName>
  <FileName>Dyn/Bouncer/Test.Bounce</FileName>
  <DynBouncer>
    <DynBouncerInfo>
      <BoneName>Breastl</BoneName>
      <Type>Linear</Type>
      <spring>200</spring>
      <DampRate>3</DampRate>
      <MaxDist>0.1</MaxDist>
      <Rotation>
        <a:float>1</a:float>
        <a:float>0.75</a:float>
        <a:float>0</a:float>
        <a:float>0</a:float>
      </Rotation>
    </DynBouncerInfo>
    <DynBouncerInfo>
      <BoneName>Breastr</BoneName>
      <Type>Linear</Type>
      <spring>200</spring>
      <DampRate>3</DampRate>
      <MaxDist>0.1</MaxDist>
      <Rotation>
        <a:float>1</a:float>
        <a:float>0.75</a:float>
        <a:float>0</a:float>
        <a:float>0</a:float>
      </Rotation>
    </DynBouncerInfo>
  </DynBouncer>
</DynBouncerGroupInfo>

Seems to work best so far. The "Breast crush" is reduced, but it still bounces :P

I have the newest version, but (at least on Federation characters) body armor overrides any uniform, and to get topless you ave to buy a uniform. Am I doing something wrong?

You can disable body armor visuals by right-clicking the armor and choosing "Disable Visuals". For Federation females, none of the default tops can be made topless, at the moment you have to buy a uniform that can be made topless from the C-Store, the Exchange, or from a Fleet Dilithium Mine*.

is there a manual install for the boots? or the crew?
No, unfortunately those are installer-only as those mods need to be compiled from source files, which the installer takes care of.

*The female miner's shirt can be removed, although the mod for that is not here just yet; it will be implemented next update.

Would anyone be willing to help me modify a portion of the mod? My goal is to change the value to the breast scale so that the modded size begins spanning from the lowest to the highest possible scaling (instead of only beginning near the highest end of the scaling).

If it is important, the reason I'm interested in this is to make it so that a character does not have to use the highest end of the scale in order for the mod to increase the size when using larger mod variations(2x or 2.5x). It will also help me eliminate the "wild growth" issue I have with making a slightly bustier BOFF outfit by visual representation.

If you could pm me or email me at ayala84@gmail.com, this would be great! I am willing to work with you as closely as need be to achieve the goal.

EDIT: Also, would it be at all possible to include in the mod installer the option to change the values of the breast slider at low and high values?

Thanks for everything!
