2.7.1 seems to be working fine for me atleast, try deleting the "bin" and "texture_library" folders inside of \Star Trek Online\Star Trek Online\Live\Localdata and reapplying the nude patch. There might be still some files from the older nude patches floating around in there causing you problems.

If you were not using the most recent version, then you should uninstall the mods and reinstall the most recent version (as of this writing, 2.7.1). That should fix any crashing issues except in the new Featured Episode, there may be an issue or two left there.

As a pre-emptive heads-up, there is a 99.9% chance that the new Season patch on Nov 12 will break most/all of the mods. I would highly advise uninstalling the mods and waiting for an updated version to fix crashing issues. Although if you want, you can try keeping texture mods around (i.e. any files in Localdata\texture_library) as they probably will still work.

The new patch doesn't like these mods. I played the rest of the game, but while playing the new season my game crashed every time it tried to load the new drones (it seems the nudepatch conflicts with the textures for those avatars) I uninstalled the patch and the game works fine. Now I'm waiting for the update.
By the way, great mod. Thanks.

Possible, yes. It's a bit of work though, and I have several mods in the queue plus fixing new Season issues, so this is likely to sit on the back burner for a month or so.

oh god they fucked up the female models and textures. I assume you can still release the old models and textures when you release your patch i hope.

EDIT: Oh wait, all the clothing has been refitted to fit the new bodies too, but its actually easy enough to reshape the bodies back to what you had them at before. I replaced the new skin textures though with the old ones.
EDIT: Nvm i take that back the new leg models for the females look wierd.

Yep, it is le crash. Oh well, I think the last time, you had a new one up within three days, so I can wait. :)

A question (a request if it's possible): Is there a file of some kind that has the Wells commbadge in it? And, if so, think it'd be possible to replace one of the other commbadges with it? I ask because of a possible character idea, provided I can get either a Wells or a Mobius again. :)

If you used the installer, there should be an uninstall option in the Programs & Features menu like for any other program. Additionally, there should be an uninstaller executable in the location you installed the mods to. Someplace like [..\Public\Cryptic Studios\Star Trek Online\Live\Localdata], perhaps -- it could be different depending on where you have STO installed.

If for some reason the mods got installed to the improper location, you will need to uninstall as attempting to re-install will result in the mods being installed in the wrong place again.

In any event, when the installer asks you for a location to install the mods to, you'll need to confirm that the location it auto-detects is in fact the correct folder where you have STO installed. You may need to manually point the installer to the correct folder if the autodetect gives the wrong location for some reason.

Just to unbury this from the middle of this wonderful thread, given Season 8 not liking the nude mod currently. Looking forward to the fix and love your mod!

Crashing with the .bin files. But the .bin's removed, other stuff works still.
Confirmed, Cryptic has changed the .bin format a bit, but all non-.bin mod components will still work. Working on fixing the .bins, I've had some preliminary success with breast jiggle, hopefully the remaining mods will work as well.

Due to the complexity of the back-end of how .bins are edited and compiled, offering a manual install version would present a significant manual workload for the end-user. This is why compiled .bin mods are only offered through the installer, so the process of selecting which edits to apply, applying them, compiling the mod, and inserting it in the correct location on your local hard drive can be fully automated, requiring a minimum of user input.

Note that if for some reason the installer fails for you, you can attempt to choose a technically incorrect install location (say, if the installer does not like installing to the D: drive, try installing to a temporary location on the C: drive). Once the installation has completed, you can copy the resulting folders from the temporary location over to the proper STO localdata folder. This may be a workaround for some rare corner cases where the installer fails for reasons that are difficult to diagnose and thus fix.

In related news, I conjecture that the fixes to the mod tools for to Season 8 will allow fixing of Neverwinter mods as well. No timeline yet, but hopefully within the month.
