Variables in Set Command (1 Viewer)

Hi

I'm trying to make a rolling total from a couple of variables, but I can't seem to get it working.

My test script is this;


initial_settings:{"Donations":0, "var_value":100}

pulled_down:"*Donations* [test1]"

test1:"!!!!![test2]"{"set":{"Donations": + *var_value*}}

test2:"*Donations*"


So it should display 0 to start with, then go up by 100 each time she is pulled down. I've tried with speech marks around the var_value (which just changed the output to text) speech marks just around the + sign, no speech marks at all, various spacings, no asterisks, asterisks around the Donations variable. None of them do the job!

Surely it can be done and I'm just not getting my syntax right?

For the record, I can't just hardcode 100 into the set command as in the full dialogue that figure is a changing variable.
