I suppose this counts as coitus interruptus, Nina thought with a wide smirk on her lips as she levels her aim on her target, a middle-aged man in his two-room hotel suit, who was currently being served by a young redhead hooker riding him cowgirl-style. For a few seconds Nina had contemplated shooting the girl, too. Witnesses never looked good in a debrief, even when they hadn't seen her. Still, the seasoned assassin could not help but pity the girl a little, who was trying so hard to seem into it, as he reached up to grasp at her petite breast, she even moaned accordingly. Nina didn't fear being seen, the two were occupied enough with themselves, and even if they shot a glance her way, she was dressed in all black leather, barely peeking around the door frame of the bedroom. However, there was no reason to entertain the risk for any longer, even if it was small, and there were two people waiting for her to put them out of their misery.
One click of the trigger, the hammer of her pistol rocking back and forth, hitting the chambered bullet with the precision only a handcrafted mechanism is capable of, the dull sound of the silenced explosion, and the entire show was over. To her credit, when her clients brains decorated the far wall of the hotel room, the redhead didn't scream. Nina could respect that. She didn't linger in the doorway long enough to see the girl's face turn from faked pleasure to whatever it may, she was already on her way to the suit's entrance door, pistol holstered away at her side.
With her hand on the doorknob, she reached for the radio earpiece in her ear and calmly broadcasted, "Hit successful, com..." She didn't get any further as she was interrupted by a sharp pain in the back of her leg that forced her down to one knee. Instantly, her training kicked in, surprised from behind, kicked in the small of the knee. She whirled around, blonde hair flying about, only barely catching the elbow aimed to knock her head back against the entrance door. Twist, slap, block the knee. The next seconds were a blur of limbs clashing into each other faster than the eye could see. No one wanted to need to defend themselves on their knees, yet Nina managed to hold her own, defending, if barely, from the onslaught raining down on her.
She tried to get up, needed to get up, but the moment she pushed her feet against the ground, her assailant kicked her leg away expertly, dropping her down again. A sharp sting of pain in Nina's cheek, her head flying to the side involuntarily, meant she had been struck. Giving up her defence would mean defeat, she knew, time seemed to stretch with only that thought in her head, she knew she had to block whatever was coming next, despite not seeing it directly...
The low roundhouse kick to her belly hit her like a baseball bat. Nina flew off her knees, landing on her back. She only vaguely saw the figure standing over her, before a powerful stomp to her shin broke all the bones in her lower leg. The pain sent stars exploding in her vision and Nina screamed, loud, high pitched like a wounded animal. It was the first sound any of the two had made. She felt her arm being grabbed and twisted, to turn her around onto her belly, a foot was placed firmly between her shoulder blades and she already knew what was coming, because she had done it before more than once. That didn't make the pain any more bearable. With one tug braced against her own body, her twisted arm snapped out of her shoulder joint, drawing renewed screams from Nina.
In a haze of agony, she noticed her arm being dropped at her side and her assailant straddling her. Screaming wouldn't do her any good, so she gritted her teeth and turned her head as far as it would go to look over her shoulder and see, the redhead? Confusion mixed into her pained expression at the sight of the completely naked girl kneeling over the small of her back and looking down on her contently. "How do you catch an assassin?" The redhead asked in a far too sweat tone. Then it clicked with Nina. In one moment, she hadn't even thought about the possibility until now, the entire weight of her situation came crushing down on her. "No!" she exclaimed, shortly before the redhead reached around her throat and pulled her head backwards. Nooo! She screamed internally, kicking and flailing with her good leg and arm uselessly. Tears welled up in her eyes as the tension in her neck grew stronger. No...
A loud crack heralded the snapping of her neck, her last expression, pained, afraid and surprised, forever painted on her face.
