Here are some (almost all) of the Imports I have done for SDT that I figured I would share. Mostly I have been working on ones for characters from Senran Kagura.

Those are new and I have not seen any of these characters posted elsewhere unless I missed them.

Some of my older imports are in the archive but I never credited myself mostly because it will never bother me to have my stuff shared around. Since I'm posting new imports I''ll post older stuff that has managed to find it's way into the archive from the old booru. I just want to keep all of my stuff new and old confined to this thread. I'm however missing my Hypnoc girl and a extremely poor Kirin girl (first import) from the Monster hunter section as I appear to have misplaced the PSD and cannot make a copy. However I feel both of those suck, as such I will not miss them.

Disclaimer: I am not an artist. I never will be an artist. I can't draw for SHIT. As such I feel a lot of these are fairly rough and some of them I just hate the linework on.

Feel free to comment and leave advice as to what I can improve. Personally I think the lines are way too thick on some and I can't shade/color even if you had a gun to my head but hey, what can you do hopefully I can improve somewhere with some advice and feedback.

By redundant I mean that at the end of the day you are still getting a hair for Judith that looks the same regardless of the ear being there or not.

I had not considered that the skin color was also tied to the ears in the new version. I personally don't change a character to purple or something if the character depicted in the hair is not actually purple. Ergo why I would figure it is redundant The skin color on the ear is the color I used for Judith and I don't hue shift anything so it never occurred to me other people would do so.

I can and will change it but ill have to redraw that whole portion of the hair because I do not have the original copy so I have to do a chop job on it. Personally id also rather have it as a dynamic but I can't use flash for shit.

I mix and mash mods like a mad-man so there is no way to cover all options. (And no logical reason to think about them either).

It's cool. It was kind a bitch actually to edit it because I wasn't sure how to do it because I wasn't the original creator of the hair so I didn't have the linework or coloring just a PNG.

The template also doesn't have one for the elf ears so I didn't want to go and rework it just have it completely covered by the one sidehair piece. I also didn't want to fix and mix and match the whole thing so it looks goofy to the point where i might as well redraw the whole thing.

Next hair I want do is Blue Rose from Tiger & Bunny but there already is one out but I might just do it anyway for fun.

I'll take requests if anybody has them but I can't promise ill finish them with any kind of speed.

*edit* Now that I think of it does anybody have tips for doing linework? What programs do you use? I'm using CS5 but I'm sure I can get better linework out of CS5. I have tried other things and I have illustrator too but I have no idea how to work the pen tool in that thing compared to CS5.

But I can't draw for shit. I can however use the pen tool like a goddamn master who trained on the peak of Mount Everest for 30 years :P. That is the only reason they look half as nice as they do. I also just use a HELL of a lot of samples and other artwork as reference before I make a hair. I'm also a super stickler for character accuracy. My Blue Rose hair actually irks me because I KNOW the Pepsi NEX logo is actually supposed to to be on the left side of her head not the right but its such a part of the character it would be a shame to hide it. Stuff like that bothers me so I put a decent amount of time into hair before ill post it. Blue Rose probably took....2 hours to do the linework and base coloring before I was happy with it.

Thanks though Dante, seriously. I love all the work you do for your mods they are really good so its nice to see myself even get a mention from somebody who has actually dropped a lot of time into making good stuff.

What program do you use other than flash(clearly) to make your mods? I feel like my linework is not nearly clean enough or as nice as it could be. I'm using CS5 but i'm not sure using it how to make the lines look better than I have them. I want to go back and redo a couple of the hairs like Hibari because I think that the lines are WAY too thikc. same with Yagyuu.

I don't think it works the same way in Photoshop as I wasn't seeing those options pop up. However I tried it anyway and I saw that there was actually a stroke path properties option that I had totally forgot about. Turned on simulate pressure and bam perfectly nice faded in and out lines.

I did use Microsoft Digital Image Pro 9 to make Jessica, Bulk, & the Lycan. I made the components on there and then imported the parts into the loader template

I agree. There's nothing wrong with 'strong' lines if their fine. Having big thick black lines just makes good work look rougher.
