i find some comfort in seeing that i'm not the ONLY one experiencing this ctd or freezing on the beauty salon cuz i'm pretty bad with modding but I know i can follow a cookbook/instructions when i read them and none of the workarounds worked for me Hoping there is an update soon to the mod

You only run Restore N' Patch when the BDO launcher has a non-text-files update (e.g. wednesday mornings after maint, or this morning). Running it every time you launch the game will completely make the modding invalid. You may be doing something else wrong in resorepless or other parts of the install or have some bad directory/corrupt files from messing up the install previously. If you've done that one thing wrong, chances are you're doing something else incorrectly too.

And where'd you get this information from?
Restore N' Patch is to be used at any point, when there isn't an update to the game, it simply restores the patched meta (as if it was a backup, it technically is a backup of the modded meta), if there is an update, it executes compatible programs (Meta Injector in this case) so that patches would be performed on the updated meta file.

All of you who experience crashes/freezing when using the character creator, reply with the following information:

What patching method did you use in Meta Injector? "Keep files and folders structures" or "Let the program decide"
List the patched files (through Meta Injector, option #4), locate files from the path "gamecommondata/customization/", take and upload screenshots.

*I'm not using any custom files.

*Client is NA, and the meta version is 690

*I attempted to patch with Meta Injector, then run the game with Restore N' Patch. The game started up fine and went to the character I wanted to make adjustments to. Crashed before the options/ sliders came up.

That's everything, save for the screenshot. I don't have one for the crash, and I'm not sure where I'd even take it. The client stops responding and closes.

While we waiting for our great modders to release update here is another workaround for body size sliders in the meantime along with nudes, custom textures etc.
You need to download orignal BlackFireBR "Meta Injector 2.0e" for that.

The process: (probably can be simplified but anyway it's just temp workaround)

1. go to BDO\Paz folder
2. Download "Meta Injector 2.0e" and uncompress in BDO\Paz (this one is called meta_injector.exe)
   
3. Run resorepless.exe as you normally do
4. Run UndercoverPervert's "Meta Injector 1.3.0" (that is Meta Injector.exe) as you normally do (that will patch textures, models and add nude skin)
5. Rename your folder "files_to_patch" to say "files_to_patch.bak"
6. Create new folder "files_to_patch"
7. Copy "files_to_patch.bak\gamecommondata" to "files_to_patch\gamecommondata" (this folder has customizationboneparamdesc.xml files that define body sizes)

10. choose 1) Install
11. On next screen switch to "Keep files and folders structures from the "files_to_patch" folder."
12. Enter and you get naked big boobs :)

Seems orignal meta_injector.exe with "Keep files and folders structures from the "files_to_patch" folder." is not affect by bug about file names being identical

Um..yeah there is no gamecommondata folder, I know my shit was working because I always had big boobs prior to this last patch.

Yup just scanned my entire hard drive for that folder. Does not exist, i'll just assume this workaround is meant for 0.02% of people with odd installs and wait for an official fix lol.

I fixed the Boneslider Issue myself:

1. restore BDO to a clean state.
2. use the toolkit
3. install everything you need with resorep
4. get an already modified (a backup from befor the patch broke it) customisation file like customizationboneparamdesc_combetwomen.xml and rename it to customizationboneparamdesc.xml
5. go to your Harddrive:\BDO\Paz\files_to_patch\.resorepless\gamecommondata\customization now you see folders named 0,2,4,8 and so on...
open one folder, open the customizationboneparamdesc.xml inside and search for the keyword: breast!
If the keyword isnt found then its a bonefile for male characters, close it and leave it untouched.
open the next one and check again, if the keyword: breast is found, close the file again and copypaste the customizationboneparamdesc.xml from step 4 for into this folder.
repeat with all folders inside the customization folder.
6. after youre done with step 1-5 just start metainjector like you did all the time but this time the customizationboneparamdesc.xml files should be successfully patched.
7. Login & Enjoy! =)

ps.: if its running for you again, make a backup of the current gamecommondata folder just in case, so you dont have to do all this again till our modders have everything fixed =)

Your step 5 is a complete mess. There is absolutely not a single folder named 0,2,4,8 or anything like that in the customization folder. Not at all. Where oh where are you getting this from?

Something interesting is happening with my versions (resorepless v3.6e, meta injector 1.2.2.0): nude mod works even after mini-patch today. Breast sliders do not work on Mystic, Kuno, or Witch but it did in fact work on DK (so kuno, mystic, and witch are at standard sizes - not matching what was made with sliders, BUT the DK is indeed matching sliders - or custom sizes are working). This is on NA servers. Hmmm...

I finally got it all to work but have the same issue, only my DK has the large breasts but all other characters do not. (NA)

Yeah I got the proper folder structure by reinstalling all the mods fresh and starting over. Followed the instructions but noticed that only the dark knight gets the sliders. Might be an issue with NA because someone else having the same problem above.

ya thats why i had to figure out what folder number is male and whats female by opening each file and search for the keyword Breast (result = female, no result = male), then copy a modified customizationboneparamdesc.xml into each female folder manually and after that patching it with the metainjector. the result was all female classes have the enhanced body sliders now.

Yeah, and I have patched and re-patched so I dont think I have the pre-update files to do the workaround Jeany is doing. Guess all we can do is be patient and thankful :)

Well I screwed up. I ran a version of this mod that was something like a month old and it worked okay. The only problem it had was that meta injector could never restore backups. The backups it restored was always modded. So the only way to restore a backup was to use the repair tool.

Then after the last downtime I had to use the repair tool every time I even started the game. Then reinstall the mod and open "restore n patch" to run the mod.

I decided to download the latest version today and now nothing works.

I run the repair tool to get the game fresh. Run resorepless to install the mod. Meta injector and then "restore n patch". The game opens and launches but then crashes due to corrupted files.

I open meta injector and restore the latest backup. Run the game again and the files are still corrupted. Run the repair tool to be able to play the game.

Edit: deleted all the mod files and reinstalled them. The game now launches modded. It has nudity but no sliders changes at all.

Also is there any way to maintain nipple sizes when going for larger breast sizes? The areola turning into a first sized smudge looks odd.

I did that but for some odd reason it does not even recognize anything other than DK; I even for the heck of it made them ALL female (replaced the file in every folder) still only DK.

When I browse the customization folder via paz browser and extract the files none of the changes are made. Does this mean meta_injector is not copying them? Interestingly enough when I extract the DK file it shows default but in game she has large breasts...is there some cache that could be screwing me here? Very odd!

OK so it's all working for me again (accept for the sliders) after I let the game scan and repair it's install and I used the latest mods as of Mar 24th.

My DK misses her boobjob.

Well, I finally got this working. It was the toolkit version I had installed. 1.1 was the issue, uninstalled everything, updated toolkit and reapplied and it all works! Thanks!
