any way to get JSON to work when using as3compile? I'm getting this warning and JSON.parse fails when I run it

The OP to this thread is from 2012. This has been the main way to make action script mods without needing Adobe Flash to compile since the very beginning of the modding scene.

i have a copy of this compiler in most of my mods, mostly because i am lazy and it is easier for me to have the small program copied all over the place than have it only in a single spot.

to use it, you just open up a cmd prompt and run it with the filepath of your .as file. one of the videos in my thread goes through it on how to make code mods.
