Mostly, I just figured after everyone telling me my name shouls reflect my awesomness, So I used a few ideas I liked, and a few more based on their suggestions.

Once again I get my hopes up for an unencumbered weekend of nothing but modding and cartoons, just to have it snatched away, because first shift can't get their god damn parts finished and shipped, and thrid shift is too damn slow to keep the pace of second shift when we try to get 1st shift's stuff ran. We've been running like dogs all week!

My supervisor, John, who works on the Eco-line has been having the Eco workers stay over 2-3 hours longer all week to catch up to their quota. while I was on my smoke break I was chatting with one of them who ask him, (John was out there too)

Eric: "Instead of staying over, why don't we just work a Saturday?"
John: "To hell with that, Saturday is my day off, and I'll be damned if I'm gonna spend it here."

Yet he has the gaul to come to the Zinc line and tell us, "Hey yall gotta come in Saturday." Son of a bitch >:(

To top it off, Murello, corners me in the break room and asks: "Are we gonna have the same problem we had last time with the bad attitude? Do you actually want to work this time?"

First off: Any guy on the Zinc line will tell you, that my attitude was "I'm tired and sore from a hard week's work."

Second: Asking me "Do I want to be here" is the wrong question, because if he really wanted the answer to that he won't like it when I told him: "Fuck no, I'd rather be doing anything in the world EXCEPT work here on a fucking Saturday". The correct question is: "Are you going to be here and do your job to best of your abilities?" Because that answer would have been a simple and honest "Yes"

Ouch, thats rather sucky Dante. i'm having a similar problem with work at the moment, Managers deciding to chop and change rota's literally a day before the people are due to work them without telling the person, no staff what so ever so we're doing the job of three people each. then anyone voices annoyance they'll either try and brush it under the rug or turn it against them by saying how they're not a "team player"

Of course we don't get to turn around and point out how upper management aren't team players because of the simple fact that the three of them don't get along and can't even keep up a consistent plan, which inevitably leads to three different contradicting orders just so they can try and one up each other and then we get the blame from the others because we haven't done any of the work they ordered us to do.

Part of the reason i'm glad they're used to my "go away, i'm annoyed," tone of voice... they still give me grief over it but they don't chew me out over it anymore. Though i think thats more due to me shouting at two of them for trying to get me to do stuff that i have nothing to do with/other stuff that would require breaking policy... yeah i wasn't going to do that.

Anyway, enough of my rant time, hope everything goes okay for you.

and i just realised something, you choose your new title on the 13th, that's my birthday \o/ woo

So help me if my pay is NOT on my card every Friday, I'm not going to work. As for if I like my job of not: It's boring work, I put parts on a rack, which circle through the vats of acid, water, & coating within and hour, and every ten minutes a new rack comes down. I unload the rack, put the parts in a box, load the rack, and it all starts over again. Luckily I work with 4 nutty mother fuckers, who know how to make the time pass ;D

Dude, Dante, I feel your pain brother.

I teach business ESL in-house for a large technology firm in Japan and this weekend I had to put on a seminar for all new employees for multiple branches of the company. I mean, I didn't do it by myself, but this has been weeks in the planning and we finally did the first one today. We also have another one tomorrow.

I've been neglecting my mods (as well as all things in life these past 3 weeks) namely on the basis that I was elected to MC the event. I've been stressed the fuck out. Working till 1 in the morning or later then waking up at 6 the next day for materials prep. By the time the event came about today was already destroyed by shear sleepiness.

Ugg. Work. I miss college already.
