I know, isn't it!
I love Diaries after all.
Anyways, thanks a lot guys, especially Kojiro. Hope you don't
orgasm within 1 sec seeing the picture of my 1st high quality hair.
Now I just have to learn drawing with that weird program.
Would still appreciate if anyone knows an answer to this question:
While I'm at it, I always have to rightclick>break appart all the lines if i want to fill the gap in them,
is there some way to automate that?

using the pentool in flash should be waaay easier than photoshop after all it makes better curves and you dont have to alt click to break curve paths just click the box at the end of the line and it does it for you. and about filling gaps do you mean filling in hair color for parts of the hair?
if thats what your asking you just have to close the gap and then fill it in with the paint bucket. if there is a line you dont want showing select it and hit delete. if you want to be more accurate with this yo u can do what i do and change the stroke color for the line and make a new lines that go into the parts you want to delete. by doing this you can select the lines you want gone then delete them and after that delete the different colored lines

Ah yeah, was talking about drawing with brushtool, only
tried pentool once in flash but it's true that the annoying alt-clicking is gone here.
The filling might be different/easier when using pentool. Guess I'll use the
pentool here then. Now the thing that I haven't found yet is how you make the corners
end sharp like the stimulate pressure in Photoshop

hmmm to make ends sharp i just use the pentool. make one line that you know where the end point is then make another that connects to it the way you want to get the sharp/pointed look

Well what i mean is that the line gets thinner as the line ends,
like in kona's Rei hair.

Hm..yeah that's what I originally wanted to do but that's
where i had my "break apart" problem with the lines.

Think of it as a shape, not a line.

Draw a curved line.
Connect back to the first anchor with a slightly less curved line.

true, that works. but it's still quite troublesome to do and I'd
be surprised if kona really did it like that..
Whenever I draw a line with the brush tool, I get a blue thin rectangular frame around
it, does any of you know how to turn that off?

In Illustrator you can easily give the line a width profile to make it appear pointy like that. I don't believe Flash has such extended options for vectors. Unless it does or Kona doesn't work in Flash, he very likely did it like that.

Toggle object drawing mode.
