I have a minor request... in the absence of the preset options working, is it possible to get a list of the *settings* for the presets, like the scale options have? They help a lot in tuning, as they give a reference point...

There's a readme in the custom boobs size folder if you've installed that. But if not here's the reference from Password's old readme:

I still can't get a Dynbouncer BIN file created. I open Jiggle file and then the Custom file. I then drag the Dynbouncer file to the convert resources exe. but nothing happens. If I click on the convertresource.exe some bars pop up and fill, but no Bin file is created. I noticed that when I drag the Dynbouncer file, a circle with a red line through it represents the dragged file, unless I drag it outside the overall file location. So I opened two copies of the file and dragged the Dynbouncer from one to the convertresource to the other, but all that does is pop up a box about archives. Am I missing a step here? I remember having this same problem back in March when we were doing something similar to the Costumegeo, but I can't remember how I got that to work.

Check the properties of the dll files in the ...\serializers\assemblies folder. Most likely they're still blocked. If that's the case, just click 'unblock' and apply; should work then.

We should probably get the mod working again first - I don't know if The ZTS The ZTS tracks feature requests though, if not, maybe a different thread for that?

annemarie annemarie I worked on some today. However I am not that great of a texture artist, I'd have to contact some of the texture artists here, to mess with the imprint textures. They can definitely be done, using GIMP or photoshop. I can write up a short tutorial for our resident texture artists Daedalus Daedalus (and whoever else has created textures for us in the past). Here is my crude attempt at the oddy, I will do other outfits, feel free to open them up with wtex->dds and paint in better detail. I'm also trying to find a way to convert texture sizes without the game crashing. 512x512 textures work well but the swimsuits are 512x256 and often crash.

There's a readme in the custom boobs size folder if you've installed that. But if not here's the reference from Password's old readme:

Oops! My bad, I was specifically referring to the *jiggles*, inspired by the custom scaling. So far as I can remember, the custom jiggles info has *never* included any info on what the presets were at, even back when Password was still doing it, which is one of the reasons I've generally not bothered to mess with doing them custom. I got my scaler back in about five seconds, but I'm going to have to trial-and-error the jiggles and would appreciate having a couple reference points...

annemarie annemarie I worked on some today.

I'm not much of a texture editor myself, but I can tell you that the 'imprints' that are already included in the mod just modified the normalmaps with the nipple (and areola, for that matter), giving the appearance of pokies without actually modding the base texture. In the past I can recall literally just dropping the nipple normals on top of the existing normals, but you gotta get the positioning and cutout *just* right to be able to do that effectively.

I'm pretty sure password or whoever was doing it had a file somewhere that had *just* the nipples and they just plunked that overtop of things, from how I remember them looking.

Realistically speaking they should probably only have the nipple itself, unless all our girls got *very* puffy areolae.

Well, I trial-and-errored the jiggle. I used to use 'perky', and ended up with a nice, not over-the-top wobble with settings of:

Spring: 275
Damping: 6.25
Maxdist: 0.5

Hey Clamman5 Clamman5 , I'll take you up on the offer for a tutorial on texture editing in STO. I've been wanting to try my hand at a nude body texture & also some kinky costume edits.

In a good month Q comes around again with his winter festivities.
But y'know, us running around in that winterland with our nude toons gives a totally different meaning to Santa's "Hohoho!", doens't it?

We should probably get the mod working again first - I don't know if The ZTS The ZTS tracks feature requests though, if not, maybe a different thread for that?

The idea that this mod would require a seperate thread is both appalling and necessary. There are enough posters here now that we could use one for the tech nerd devs and one for the Space Barbie. Perhaps a designated intermediary to relay thought out requests from the Barbies to the Nerds and the reasons why things can't happen. I dont pretend to have authority to set this up, but I think it would allow more efficient discussion among the Nerds.

I cannot believe this little mod has been kept alive and even grown in use. Thanks for keeping things weird, folks.

As long as we "Barbies"* are not unable to watch the tech discussions and the request thread gets some feedback so we don't feel like we're being ignored, I see that as a good idea. Less clutter that way and easier to track progress.

*I was originally kinda insulted by the Space Barbies description, but after a couple minutes... yeah, I've got nothing substantial to contribute, most I can give is feedback. I haven't attempted my own mods since the Duke Nukem 3D days. I just want the mod to undress my characters for my own juvenile entertainment.
