so from the embasy we get senator robes
from the mine we get miners outfit
from the starbase we get oddysey/bortasque
so, do you think there will be a special outfit for the spire tailor when it Comes?
Where can i get this outfits, I mean the senator Robes, the miners Outfit, the oddysey/bortasque and the spire Outfit.

Until now I didn't have found them.

First you need to visit an Embassy, Spire, Mine, or Starbase that has completed the Tailor project. Then, you visit the tailor there and purchase the uniform from them. If your fleet does not have the tailor project complete, you can still visit someone else's fleet holding that has, and buy it from their tailor just fine.

Hi Password42.

THX for your info.

Password, Love your mod have been using it for over a year.. But the last time I downloaded it was a php file. Not the zip file my computer is used to. I really don't know what to do with this kind of file. Please help. I am downloading the full version.

Thanks Aldo

You can downlaod this .php file.
Afte you have downloaded it, you can rename it to he original filename.
For example.

The orignal filename is xyz.zip
Now when you wan to download this file yu get a file called attachment.php
After you have downloaed it, the filesize is as big as the file should be, you can rename it to xyz.zp

After that you can use the file normaly.

Attention mod users:

Two items of business today:

1) There is a free stuff giveaway similar to the Summer Event giveaway starting soon: http://sto.perfectworld.com/news/?p=1085491

Be sure to log on and claim your free stuff!

2) It is likely that the upcoming "Season 8.5" patch scheduled to be released on Jan. 30 will break at least one of these mods, resulting in the game client crashing when it tries to load that mod.

Should this indeed happen, to fix the crashing please navigate to your:

Code:
..\Cryptic Studios\Star Trek Online\Live\Localdata\bin

folder and (re)move all of its contents. This should fix the crashing issue by removing the problematic mod(s).

If the patch does, in fact, break things, I'll have an update to fix the issue(s) shortly after the patch goes live.

The new Khan uniform, is causing skin not to appear on my romulan female character... is this is a mod issue, or just the game being stupid with the new uniform?

It's very possible mod could mess with new Khan uniform, is the Arc client hard to uninstall? It sounds like something I would not what on my computer or I would test it.

It's possible it's a mod issue. My scheduled mod recompile for the Season 8.5 update may fix things.

not sure if it's mod or glitch my ferasan shows the outfit fine without the torso disappearing as well as my caitian, my others have it disappear
Am going to uninstall and see if it's still there

***EDIT***
Before doing so I tried once more and while I still got the glitch, there was another player nearby wearing the Kahn outfit yet her torso was visible while mine wasn't

Do the compiled mods such as jiggle use extra processing/memory? I've started noticing lately that my game partially loads and has many bright color blur and blinding geometric shapes after running with such mods on. After my own poking around, I noticed that while running the mods, my processor stayed at 100% use; so I concluded that the game with mods and teamspeak running at the same time was paging more of the processor than it could handle. Just my own curiosity. I actually thought such a meager process shouldnt have made a difference, but then I started thinking about how many characters can be in a single place which would cause alot of seperate bouncing.

I am not knowledgeable enough to say for sure, but it seems a safe bet to conclude that if you use mods, they will require slightly more hard drive lookups, memory calls, and processor operations than an unmodified game.

However, if you've recently started using Arc (say, for the Kahn costume), that bloatware is more likely to blame than these mods, as I am confident that Arc requires vastly more system resources than these mods do (and Arc probably also contains tracking spyware to report your computer specs, currently-running processes, and other data to PWE).

I am not using Arc. I thought I could opt out of beta testing PW's crap for once. heh That and I doubt my PC could handle it. I do finally have a copy of win7 on it's way though, so hopefully with the right OS, I can get better performance out of this processor. (if winXP hasnt fried it yet)

Thanks for the quick reply; and as always love the mod.

I know you are primarily working with texture mods, but are there any thoughts about launcher mods once it migrates fully to ARC?

I just downloaded this in time for the anniversary freebies, but I can't seem to find the tops/jackets for Human Females which have the nude textures. Or do we have to unlock/buy these costumes?

From what I've been reading once updated, you can close down its 6-7 TSR's and run the mmo's from there own executable. I personally hope PWE gives up on this bloated pile of Ad ware disguised as a launcher/updater after the back lash begins to sting.

None of the default ones can be made nude, but you have several options you can buy for a fairly low price:

-Miner outfit from fleet Dilithium Mines

-Dyson outfit from fleet Spires (the mod for this is actually not working at the moment and will be fixed tomorrow)

-Risa outfit from Summer Event (or Exchange)

-Winter Jackets from Winter Event (or Exchange)

The Winter Jackets are probably the cheapest at the moment, buy from the Exchange for a few thousand EC.

Thanks as always for the quick reply, Password42. Are any of these account-wide or do I have to buy one for each character I want to use simultaneously?

All the ones I listed were the ones that do not cost Zen, and all are per-character. There are also several C-store costumes (formal wear, Mirror TOS, etc.) that are account-wide that can be made nude, but you need Zen for those.

Hey Password I've read through the forum and have a question about dances. I didn't notice anything about it but would it be possible for you to create a mod to have a dance replicate a pole dance with a pole like in Hassan's hideout?
