Hmm, yes it seems so. I'm deferring the next update until the release of Delta Rising, but in the meantime you can try this hotfix. Extract the "Skelinfos.bin" file within to your Localdata folder and overwrite the old one there. It should hopefully help the crashing.

I'm running just the nude skin and the jiggle mod, and this fixed the xindi-related crashes for me. Thanks!

The only ways to turn the mods on & off are by manually (re)moving the files from your localdata folder, or by uninstalling/reinstalling with different mods selected. There is sadly no way to activate/deactivate mods from within the game.

In any event, the mods will surely break tomorrow when DR releases, so you'll want to wait for my next update.

It crashed right on the character selection screen.....
(which it did not do in Tribble....) On Tribble during the Beta Test, I was able to run some content...although crashes did occur....

I'm going to try a minimal mod install and see what happens....

I have no suitable textures, nor do I know where to acquire them. I am sadly not a particularly talented texture artist...

You already can do that - I have only the "TOS Mirror" uniform selected in the nude mods, and then have that set up as my nude uniform ingame - all other uniforms are standard, but if I switch to TOS Mirror, then *poof* go the clothes :-)

TLDR for Password42: Are there any segmentable portions of this we can help you with? I just rebuilt my rig with an r9 290 and I can't WAIT to get STO looking like it should!

Main post:

Yesterday I was able to load and run around ESD running:
TOS Mirror Top Remover
Skirt Remover
Breasts 2x
Photo Zoom (a bit)
Randark's jiggle setting (though it didn't work)

Today I applied the ~100MB patch tried to load just Breast 2x and Photo Zoom (a bit) and it crashes! I haven't been around long enough for an update like DR - how long do these 'daily patches' keep coming out? I would think what we are able to mod are fairly stable segments, I'm just surprised at what Cryptic is changing that would interact with what the mod changes and wondered if anyone had more experience.

(Nice to know there are others as interested in keeping this working as I am!)

Password42 is most probally working on a patch for delta rising and we will all have to wait untill he finishes it. I know it takes a while to go through the program to change it.

The new skeleton options are probably what's messing up er'thang. I can't see what the ribs sliders do, but I'll bet a bag of donuts they're interacting with the breast increase and jiggle settings.

Well, I can do Barbie-doll-style nudity fairly easily. Proper genitalia will remain impossible until someone figures out how to edit models rather than just swap them around.

don't know if this is applicable but something in the mod was causing an instant CTD vs the ravagers in the bug hunt mission. with the mod they were invisible and as soon as any offensive targeting occurred=CTD

removed your mods and it worked fine and the models reappeared.

The textures have to be rendered at least roughly in the game, and as far as i know no one at cryptic has done so. so we are SOL on seeing our men in all their glory

Ok, I'm in the home stretch of the next update, which will include a couple new features. What I'd like to talk about in this post are new skins for Caitians/Ferasans. When swimsuits were first released, the feline nude skins received a very nice update, and as such I have been able to adapt the new skins to improve on the old nude skins. See for yourself the vast improvement in the waistline, where there previously was a horrible "seam" now is much smoother.
