Jastusa.com has translated the next game in Escu:de's Yamizome series (the 2nd after the original Yamizome Revenger: Yamizome Revenger – JAST USA).
Anyone who has played the 1st game knows what to expect out of this new game: Rape + Corruption is the main fetish here, though the girls "kinda-sorta like/want the main character". Its a bit "Rape Myth Trope" but its a trope for a reason in these H-games.
Haruomi was originally an Isekai protagonist where the Goddess tasks him to defeat the Demon Lord.
As a reward, the Goddess gives Haruomi one wish: and he wishes that the Goddess returns with him to Earth as part of his harem. The Goddess is not amused, sends him back without the wish. The Demon Lord hitches a ride back and corrupts / convinces Haruomi to get back at the goddess. Goddess does sense the growing dark energy on Earth and sends her other Isekai-protagonists (aka: the 5 girls) to assassinate the Demon Lord.
Now attached together, Haruomi battles against this hodgepodge of heroines, who also have a secret identity at his school! So you spend the days trying to figure out the heroine's weaknesses, and you spend the nights battling them.
The battle system is a rather unique RPG: skills level up by decreasing in cooldown speed, while new skills are discovered as the heroines attack you. Different skills do different combinations of buffs, debuffs, damage (physical, spirit, magic, tech, light and dark damage). I'd say the unique battle system absolutely stands out and is an intriguing way to play.
Once you deplete the energy of the heroine, you are then given the "Taunt" menu, where the actual corruption begins to occur.
If you've passed enough daytime events + reach above 75% on the corruption meters, you can "fully corrupt" a heart gem with the special taunt. This leads to a rape event where Harumi takes control of the Heroine's zone and corrupts one of her heart gems. Depending on the heroine, there are either 3 heart gems or 4 heart gems in total, and once the final heart gem is taken out, the girl is "corrupted" into the dark side.
Basically, just a more gothic + sexier outfit.
All in all, the scenes are good if you're into this fetish. "Despite" the obvious rape implications here (and unfortunate "Rape Myth" implications), all the girls are acquaintances with Haruomi to begin with and were somewhat falling for him anyway. So there's a reasonably romantic plot with each one in the daytime, even if he ravages them at night in their Isekai powered-up forms. Finally, all the Rape exists in the Isekai worlds / Zones, somewhat separate from the "real world", where the more wholesome romance is occurring.
So I have to give the authors credit here to try to make Rape more... palatable? Or at least soften the edges on that little detail here. I recognize that others might see this as an even more of a turnoff, but its certainly one decision the authors of this work have made.
The "corruption" mechanic is largely about the girls accepting themselves for who they are, embracing the dark side rather than feeling like they're forced to fight for good and justice all the time. So its not an incredibly dark transformation in the great scheme of things. Of course, its still a rape-based storyline so if you can't accept this you probably want to stay away. Fundamentally: all the girls are very stressed out as part of their natural lives (as well as having to juggle these Isekai / Save the World responsibilities from the goddess), so the taunts strike deep into their hearts and "frees" them of the responsibilities (ultimately, leading them to give up on the Goddess's mission and accept Haruomi). I can feel some of you out there rolling your eyes pretty hard now but its... not the worst H-plot, lol.
Otherwise, individual sex-scenes cover a variety of positions and fantasy tropes. There's the basic missionary, doggie style, top-down bottom up, tied up, a few BDSM poses, tentacles, slimes, orcs, goblins, dopplegangers, gang-rape, public sex... a large variety that leans towards the "hardcore" but nothing that crossed my lines into the extreme obscene (ex: no scat, no guro or anything else on the far extremes of H). This might be "hardcore for the normie" but its not hardcore in the great scheme of H-games, if you get my drift.
There's a significant number of "wholesome" sex-scenes that happen post-corruption. In fact, I estimate that half of all the scenes are wholesome + consensual.
The JAST edition has decensoring enabled. Its not the erm... best drawn genitalia but considering that its a decensoring effort I think its fine. Its either this or some bad mosaics.

All in all, this game is a very high quality H-game, emphasis on the game part. The RPG mechanics of leveling up skills, discovering skills, and selecting your "deck" loadouts to defeat the heroines is very fun. Different heroines have various styles of attacks at different timings, and it feels very rewarding to learn and discover their attack patterns. The tutorial is great, the GUI is simple and intuitive.
For those hoping for the "wholesome happy ending", this story's actually got it. It starts with Dark Lord + Rape + evil corruption of course, and that's more than half the game / scenes. Traditionally, this particular combination of fetishes / storytelling (both rape + wholesome happening in the same story) is nonexistant. So I appreciate the authors here trying to find a way to make this work.
Furthermore, the sex-scenes are fully voiced by the female cast (no male voices) and high quality. Obviously the main consideration here is whether or not you personally will like these fetishes, but that's the standard problem in most H-games or Sex-games. As long as you're into these fetishes, I think you'll agree with me that they have quality about them.
It is an unusual set of fetishes but I do think it works out.
