In my imagination the zakos wear uniforms, and this uniforms can be sexy. So I really like to think what do the zakos think of their outfit. They can feel uncomfortable of their partial nakedness or maybe they are shameless and like their skimpy clothes. They can to worry that they will look immodestly after their deaths or maybe they care more about their lives and how to save them.
And what do the zakos from your imagination think about their clothes?

I really like this idea. Earlier, there was a thread about the justfication of the zako's sexy outfit. Your idea is very good, and it can be expanded. Some zakos can choose sexy outfit as their uniform on their own. It would be self-deception then.

My perfect zako outfit without being literally nude, is a very thin tube top, microskirt with no panties, and high heels. That's the basis, other minor details can be added to stylize is more. But for zakos I rationalize a mostly skimpy uniform being because if you're goign to have a bunch of hot babes as goons, might as well use them as arm candy too. Imagine being say a crime boss going to meet a rival for a chat. You walk in and see he's only or at least mostly got a shit ton of very hot and sexy female goons. Or he might think they're just arm candy and not actual goons, in this case the effect is 2 fold, either he know they're goons and may be surprised you've manage to recruit so many hotties, or them being goons will be an exploitable suprise and he may let his guard down. Even better if your henchgirls are actually skilled enough and not simply cannon fodder. So you can not only have the benefit of a capable or numerous enough force of goons, but they also have the benefit of being hot babes, which is certainly more appealign then a bunch of boring looking dude who at best may project an image of strength if they look intimidating.

I mean, if a crime boss' henchmen defeated an army of the barely dressed girls, it would be seen as a massacre in the brothel, and not as a victory over the worthy opponent.

For me, I always like the uniformity of the Empire in Star Wars, particularly the Imperial officers. The Empire uniform comes in variation but perhaps my favorite one for female is the brown top with black skirts a female space port terminal officer wears as it makes them standout from their male counterpart but also still retain that appearance of a military faction. I can imagine a brand-new cadet from Imperial would be proud of serving the emperor when putting on the clean pressed uniforms. When they fall in combat, they would probably have regret of not completing their mission and they had failed the empire.

I would say honorable mention goes to fan fiction style stormtroopers armors. The female fan fiction armor tap into the fantasy with less armor protection than the on screen counterpart. Now imagine a new stormtrooper wearing her armor for the first time, she would be proud of the armor but maybe a little curious about some parts of the armor missing (like ab armor part). When she falls in combat, she would probably regret the lack of armors and also, she has failed the emperor.

I'm all about slutty and impractical zako uniforms. The various zako factions in my work all have different themes (e.g. tacticool, ninja, horror movie murderer etc), but they all have barely there outfits with impractical heels and tops that are basically purpose designed for their tits to pop out the second they get hit in a fight.

The zakos for their part are love the look. They love flaunting their sexy bodies while committing acts of evil, and also get off over losing their clothes in the middle of a battle. Much like how vikings might desire a glorious death in battle, the zakos want to die with their tits out and drenched in their own cum. Admittedly, my zakos don't really have a whole lot of interiority. They are basically all just horny, violent and evil.

I like form fitting officewear, but emphasis on form fitting. I like my zako chubby and I like the idea that they have grown a bit too thick for their uniforms so they hug them tightly. They'll also have workout clothes which consists of tight yoga pants. Under that they'll generally have on high waisted panties. I think wearing something that shows off your physique could be empowering or demeaning, depending on the context.

I've seen statements from Neon-Dark about how the models feel powerful when they put on their costumes, and I can believe it. Some people might see those leotards as degrading because they show off a lot, but to me they look pretty fierce. I've said this before, but leotards aren't just sexy, they're also practical. Athletes wear them. Superheroes wear them, originally because they were copying the look of circus strongmen and such. And sure, Playboy Bunnies wear them too, but in other settings leotards can project power and athleticism. The half-face masks are similar in a way - their stated purpose is to dehumanize the zakos by rendering them anonymous, but they're also pretty badass-looking, like a ninja or something.

So yeah, I can definitely see a zako feeling powerful and cool in this type of sexy uniform. Micro-short skirts and panty flashes might be more of a stretch, but Delmos don't seem to mind dressing that way, so who knows?
