Manual installation method:
  • Copy C:\Windows\System32\d3d11.dll to same folder as BlackDesert64.exe file.
  • Rename copied d3d11.dll to ori_d3d11.dll (in the game folder, not in the system folder!)
  • Copy dx11proxy64.dll to same folder as BlackDesert64.exe file.
  • Rename copied dx11proxy64.dll in BlackDesert folder to d3d11.dll
  • Create dllsettings.txt file in same folder as BlackDesert64.exe file.
  • Open dllsettings.txt file with Notepad.
  • Put the following text inside dllsettings.txt file:

Code:
modded_textures_folder=C:\temp\modded
original_textures_folder=C:\temp\original
save_textures=false
application_to_hook=C:\Games\BlackDesert\live\bin64\BlackDesert64.exe
dll_log_file=C:\temp\dll.log

  • Download, extract and put modded textures into some folder.
  • Change modded_textures_folder path to folder with modded textures.
  • Change original_textures_folder to some empty existing folder.
  • Change application_to_hook to path to your BlackDesert64.exe file.
  • Change folder in dll_log_file path to some existing folder.
  • Save and close dllsettings.txt file.
  • Change the dllsettings.txt file extension to dllsettings.ini
  • Run the game.

Not working. Did everything to the letter. When I try to run BlackDesert64.exe I get commnadLineParam error
dllsettings:
modded_textures_folder=G:\Games\Black Desert Online\NM\BDNudePlusPatcher(v1)
original_textures_folder=G:\Games\Black Desert Online\Original
save_textures=false
application_to_hook=G:\Games\Black Desert Online\bin64\BlackDesert64.exe
dll_log_file=G:\Games\SomeExistingFolder\dll.log

After you finished all steps you should launch the game via game launcher as usual.
I've tried a lot of the things peeps have said here but I still get
"C:\Program files (x86)\Black Desert Online\bin64\dllsettings.ini"
Whenever I try to add it
Could it be that you extracted Resorep into same folder as BlackDesert64.exe? Don't do that. It will go crazy.

For those getting this error
8mjUe8p.png

trying to hook Black Desert on a windows 7 computer. Try doing the following:
Step One: I did a fresh install of BDO just to be sure but this probably isn't required.
Manual installation method:
  • Copy C:\Windows\System32\d3d11.dll to same folder as BlackDesert64.exe file.
  • Rename copied d3d11.dll to ori_d3d11.dll (in the game folder, not in the system folder!)

  • Rename copied dx11proxy64.dll in BlackDesert folder to d3d11.dll
  • Create dllsettings.txt file in same folder as BlackDesert64.exe file.
  • Open dllsettings.txt file with Notepad.
  • Put the following text inside dllsettings.txt file:

Code:
modded_textures_folder=C:\temp\modded
original_textures_folder=C:\temp\original
save_textures=false
application_to_hook=C:\Games\BlackDesert\live\bin64\BlackDesert64.exe ( A note here: Make sure this is actually where your exe file is located. For me it was in C:\Program Files (x86)\Black Desert Online\bin64 )
dll_log_file=C:\temp\dll.log

Now assuming that didn't work and you still get that error mentioned above the fix for me was to follow these instructions. This is specific to windows 7 and maybe Vista.
To take ownership and grant full control (or read write) permissions of files or folders in Windows 7, do these steps.

1. In Windows Explorer window, locate the files or folders that you want to take ownership and grant or change full control or other access permissions. In this case the Black Desert Online install folder.
2. Right click on the file or directory, and then select Properties on the right click menu.

3. Click on Security tab.
4. Click on Advanced button at the bottom.

5. In “Advanced Security Settings” dialog window, click on Owner tab.
6. Here you will be able to see current owner (i.e. TrustedInstaller). To take ownership of the object, click on the Edit button. If UAC prompts for administrator’s password or permission to continue, enter the correct password or press Continue button.

7. Additional “Advanced Security Settings” dialog will appear. Highlight the user name (for example, Administrators) in the Change owner to box that you want to assign as the owner for the object. Click OK to make the change.

8. Back in original parent level “Advanced Security Settings” window, you will see the existing owner of the file or folder has changed to the user you just selected. Make sure to check the little box near the bottom that says "Replace owner on subcontainers and contents."

9. Click OK button to exit this window.

10. Click OK again to exit completely from the Properties window.

11. The ownership now belongs to user or user account that's been selected. To assign necessary permissions to the user too, repeat step 1 to 3 to open the object’s Properties window again.

12. In object’s Properties window, click on Edit button to change permissions. If UAC prompts for administrator’s password or permission to continue, enter the correct password or press Continue button.

13. Highlight the Administrators or the user who wants the permissions on the object changed in the “Group or user names” box.

If the user ID or group that you want to manage the permissions for the object doesn’t exist, click on Add button, and type in the user name or group name desired into the Enter object names to select box, and finish off by clicking on OK.

14. In the Permissions for Administrators box below (or any other user name or group name you chose), click on “Full Control” under the “Allow” column to assign full access rights control permissions to Administrators group.

15. Click “OK” twice when done.

Once all that is done Try hooking with Resorp again. If you get the error again. Check to make sure you set the permissions for the username you wanted after taking ownership. (I made that mistake once today already too.)

If it works, credit goes to Ray Wing for her/his manual install instructions and STOLKAH for his post about pretty much the same issue but for windows 8.

Also don't forget that you still have to launch the game from the Black Desert Online launcher. And that if you plan to use mods you will still to remove the PAD00001.paz file from the Paz folder after (and i stress the after part) starting the launcher but before hitting play.

Logged into the launcher, moved the pad00001.paz file to a backup folder and ran the game => file is corrupted. Please run file recovery
still not working :(

Try clicking OK at least a dozen times, then twice more each time you get the corrupted error.

Isn't there some way to make an installer to install the mods (like Password42's installer for STO)? I'm not talking about a simple cmd script but an actual installer.

Go here Abropo's BDO armor mods | Undertow and download the Mammamia.zip on the first post. Unzip it and copy the character and sound into your black desert install folder. Should fix the errors. You will still get the corrupted file errors but those are normal. Click through em and it should work. At least that fixed mine.
It fixed the sound issue :) but where do I put PrincessNicky's mods (d-loaded NickyWorldBDO(1))
I'm a total noob when it comes to doing stuff like this. I just want to make my ranger & valkyrie full nude. Both have the Kibelius armor B. Ranger has Sileshi underwear and Valkyrie Le Vladian (no stockings)

Full nude all the time or just hide the underwear under your armor?

I dont know if PrincessNicky has any that remove the armor all the way but there is another one you can use that will do that. But it will remove it from all female classes. I believe it uses a different skin then Nicky's too but i used it for a while and it looks fine.

That one is Black Desert Nude Mod | Undertow It installs pretty much the same way as the mammamia one you downloaded. It will default to everything removed but if you want to customize it a bit you will have use the files in the patch folder (which some people have issues with getting to install right.) Sounds like that is your best bet.
