i say you all do them, and I'll pick my favorite.*evil snicker* Just kidding, in any case yea mineur the wonders of VLC media player make snapshots so easy to get. the hardest part now is finding the episodes for the stuff i'm looking for.

It's fairly obvious that the big bang (no pun intended) on the left side of her face is above the red and grey one.
From there it seems impossible for the right one to be under the right red and grey bang.
Following that logic, the red and grey bang starts under the smaller grey one, and thus cover the ear.

I think we are seeing it differently.

The big bang looks, to me, to be sticking out forward and to the left and not really covering anything, while the right bang looks like it is tucked under the right red and grey one.

In the front view reference, it looks to me as though the right grey bang runs under the right red and grey one and only partially covers the upper part of the ear.

All of which is perhaps overthinking things, but, eh, why not?
I could be wrong, of course.

Those Whitney shots look great! Glad to see everybody so committed to this.

Its not very good, but I found a rough Team Magma side view. Can't see her eyes, but it shouldn't be much of a problem.

Nice, but the anime you used as a reference is based on her gameboy character design.
I made a version that looks like her current character design (in the DS remake Heart Gold and Soul Silver).

yea my references did come from the cartoon when the first gold and silver came out so ya they are from the old school versions.
