I'm asking because I can't seem to find the name of the game where you had this bird's eye view and you were this lone Blonde soldier taking out all sorts of enemies, from tanks, mines, and other soldiers. You have any idea what the title of that game could be?

Admittedly the main character isn't blonde, but the other stuff you mentioned sounds about right.

Side-scroller as opposed to bird's eye view, but it has a blonde soldier (amongst other characters) doing the running and gunning.
