Windows Defender is the real malware here.

Not much had changed in Meta Injector besides targeting the updated version of BDO Toolkit, duplicate detection and whatever else I wrote in the change logs, I had to report false positives with a different public project of mine, can't be bothered to do it again, the process is tedious and time consuming as I have to re-submit after every update.

Thanks for the reassurance and keep up the good work :)

Thank you for the update! But, not yet unfortunately the modified body sliders do not work. And CTD is clean :)

Do I need to ASCII format the issue-reporting instructions into the shape of tits for you to follow them?

Telling me "this does not work" tells me a whole lot of nothing.

Besides disregarding the guidance for issue reporting, I would not put it past you to ignore the requirement of updating all the tools to get things to work... If by any chance you did not ignore that last part, but you chose "let the program decide" as the patching mode, you ignored numerous warnings implemented into Meta Injector telling you that files containing identical names would not be patched properly...

I've updated everything, still the same issue! Thank you for the fast reply and I hope an Update comes along soon!
Cheers~

Don't use "let the program decide".... this will mess things up.

What I do when patching with resorepless, I let it do its thing up until running Meta Injector, I just exit it.. (just press 0 when Meta Injector screen is infront of you) At this stage the resorepless program has put files in a directory in Black Desert Online\Paz\files to patch\.resorepless And then I do the following manually :

Go to x:\Black Desert Online\Paz\files to patch\ with windows explorer. Where x is whatever location you have your bdo directory.
Open the .resorepless folder, select all files and folders and copy them :
1.jpg

Go back to the x:\Black Desert Online\Paz\files to patch\ folder and paste the files and folders here.
Essentially copying the contents of .resorepless a folder back.
2.jpg

So that it will look like this :
3.jpg

I personally prefer to delete the .resorepless folder after copying the contents a folder backwards.

Now you run the Meta Injector.exe, choose option 1.
You will see this :
4.jpg

Leave the default choice on "Keep files and folders structures from the "files_to_patch" folder."

Press enter and enjoy.

This is how I patch everything, and it works for me.

If all you're doing is move the files out of the ".resorepless" folder, you don't need to do it at all...
Dot and underscore prefixed folders are ignored in the path, to Meta Injector a file in "files_to_patch/.resorepless/character/" is the same as the file being at "files_to_patch/character/", I don't get why new un-needed or misleading steps are brought up every time...

  • What did you attempt to do (Patch with Meta Injector/Run the game with Restore N' Patch/Play the game/Etc.): textures on the body are low resolution - can't seem to figure out what the issue is.

Misleading? Can you point to me what I said is misleading information.
Not needed? depends..

Your words are too advanced for most ppl here.
My post simplifies something. While what you are saying is not understood by many.

When patching stuff manually my method works, specially if patching files that are not handled by resorepless.
As I said, this is how I patch it, it does not mean anyone else should do what I do.

I've been noticing that for the last few patches The Kibelius settings "transparent" actually applies "more transparent" to Mystics

Does anyone else have this?

Have you re-ran Resorepless since the file structure for the gamecommondata folder has changed?

Nothing in your instructions "depend" on anything, they're outright pointless, whether custom files are used or not. Your post does not simplify anything, it just adds a completely unnecessary step to a very simple process.

Don't use "Let the program decide"... You're warned about this multiple times in the program...

more time on this.

You do nice work, but your attitude is just bad.
I think no one is ever right about anything with you, not wasting more time on this.

I MADE the code, I KNOW how it works, and when you provide steps that I deem useless, it is because I know that they are, you are doing a whole lot of nothing by moving the folders outside of the ".resorepless" folder, which is the "un-needed" part, and while I was speaking generally about the "misleading" part (hence "or"), your useless guide may result in people using outdated files, as the files in ".resorepless" (which are updated by resorepless when configuration changes are made) are detected first, and would then be overriden by the files outside of the ".resorepless" folder since they are detected later, and if you care so much for the people who aren't so savvy, do you think that they would be able to figure that out?

hmm actually Resor tells me to switch to that option before it opens Meta. Ok haven't bothered with what Meta told me. Will do in future.

PS: Patched anew with keeping the game folder structure, customization options (minimums, maximums) work now, thx. Now you just need to bring back the smaller ranger thighs and everything would be perfect :-)

This now works but the new meta injector isn't copying my old textures over if I choose "keep files and folders"

I feel like I don't know what the actual step by step instructions are? I can get nude textures, I can get sliders but I want my modified armor textures and have NO idea what do it. I never copied them to the .resorepless folder in the past. They just sat in a folder called "textures". They copy fine when I select "let the program decide" but I get a file corrupted error entering the game.

DO YOU KNOW how confusing it is, if one says you should keep file structure, and the other says let the program decide??
WHO created that confusion in the FIRST place?
I gave an alternate way to go about this.
And because it does not fit your ideals, you stomp in the ground. Regardless if it will work or not.

And even if my post was useless, YOUR ATTITUDE NEEDS AN ADJUSTMENT period.

I was using the instructions on the front page and followed what the resorepless is saying before launching the injector, to use the option to let the program decide file location, and kept getting corrupt file issues since last weeks patch. after reading the recent comments i downloaded everything again at latest version and used the keep file structure in the meta injector instead and things work now. i am not using body sliders/custom armors and the restore n patch. in case it is helpful for anyone. thank you to the developer
