Windows Defender is the real malware here.
Not much had changed in Meta Injector besides targeting the updated version of BDO Toolkit, duplicate detection and whatever else I wrote in the change logs, I had to report false positives with a different public project of mine, can't be bothered to do it again, the process is tedious and time consuming as I have to re-submit after every update.
Hello.
I try to install the mod but it doesn't work and i got this:View attachment 71264
If someone know how to fix this.
I've updated everything, still the same issue! Thank you for the fast reply and I hope an Update comes along soon!
Cheers~
If all you're doing is move the files out of the ".resorepless" folder, you don't need to do it at all...
Dot and underscore prefixed folders are ignored in the path, to Meta Injector a file in "files_to_patch/.resorepless/character/" is the same as the file being at "files_to_patch/character/", I don't get why new un-needed or misleading steps are brought up every time...
Have you re-ran Resorepless since the file structure for the gamecommondata folder has changed?
- The version of BDO Toolkit that had been used: 1.3.0
- The version of Meta Injector that had been used: 1.4.0
- The version of Resorepless that had been used: 3.6f
- The version of Restore N' Patch that had been used (If used): 1.2.1
- Are you using custom files? No
- Patching method used in Meta Injector: Let the program decide
- Client region (NA/EU/RU/KR/JP/Etc.): EU
- Client version (As reported by Meta Injector, "Meta Version"): newest (right after todays downtime)
- Everything works fine except the advanced body customization options (lower minimums, bigger maximums).
Nothing in your instructions "depend" on anything, they're outright pointless, whether custom files are used or not. Your post does not simplify anything, it just adds a completely unnecessary step to a very simple process.Misleading? Can you point to me what I said is misleading information.
Not needed? depends..
Your words are too advanced for most ppl here.
My post simplifies something. While what you are saying is not understood by many.
When patching stuff manually my method works, specially if patching files that are not handled by resorepless.
As I said, this is how I patch it, it does not mean anyone else should do what I do.
Don't use "Let the program decide"... You're warned about this multiple times in the program...

more time on this.
I MADE the code, I KNOW how it works, and when you provide steps that I deem useless, it is because I know that they are, you are doing a whole lot of nothing by moving the folders outside of the ".resorepless" folder, which is the "un-needed" part, and while I was speaking generally about the "misleading" part (hence "or"), your useless guide may result in people using outdated files, as the files in ".resorepless" (which are updated by resorepless when configuration changes are made) are detected first, and would then be overriden by the files outside of the ".resorepless" folder since they are detected later, and if you care so much for the people who aren't so savvy, do you think that they would be able to figure that out?You do nice work, but your attitude is just bad.
I think no one is ever right about anything with you, you are a very sad person, not wasting more time on this.
