Monster Female Executive Dotes on Young Heroes/モンスター女幹部は幼き勇者を溺愛する, chapter 6

A lamia is anticlimatically killed offscreen by the shota hero, who claims she was "a formidable opponent" after stripping her and ripping a core relic from her entrails.

In a previous chapter, the hero also tries to brutally dismember and kill a naked snake girl but she regenerates and joins his team.

Watching manga/anime like this makes me more and more convinced that Japan as a whole works by some weird reverse moral system. Most of their "heroes" would be considered horrific villains in western media, or Punisher/Venom style antiheroes at best. Like the bio of G1 Megatron says, mercy is simply not in their vocabulary.
Ironically, this is why I liked Trigun, finally an anime hero who actually goes out of his way to try and not kill his enemies even if it means he has to suffer for it.

"CW 33: Manhua Villainesses Index
Keeping an index of villainesses found while browsing manhua (200+ villainesses). Plan to publish 15-20 villainesses per week (CW), if community interest is there. For engagement/fun creating favorite character of the week poll. A few notes on the index:
? Villainess mostly found by skimming Chinese language manhua chapters. Info is cursory - I can?t read Chinese, translating is burdensome, and storylines are generally confusing (even when translated).
? Villainesses generally fall into character type: busty, powered, and clean modern manhua art.
? My villainesses rating is listed (highest 1 - 5 lowest)."

They straight up stole the design of Mosquito from One Punch Man for this. I don't mind, glad to see more of her...
And for a change, she actually survives the battle and gets imprisoned.

The protagonist brutally murders a naked girl and then casually goes to check on his two teammates sleeping cutely, with one of them being a girl he also brutally dismembered earlier. It really is a bizarre scene.

And speaking of Mosquito Girl, there was also this manhua spider-girl villainess named Aizuna that was really reminiscent of her. She survives getting a hole blasted in her just to be repeatedly slammed to death by the overpowered hero. They actually show her busty corpse lying there as the protagonist nonchalantly walks away, which seems to be rather rare in manhua.

This is some kind of weird recent shift or fad. I watched a lot of anime in the late '80s and '90s, and into the early 2000s, and I don't remember anything being like this.

Western media have their own perversions - like in an american age ratings showing a naked boob have higher rating than a bloodless murder, LOL. It is ok to show kids a clean murder but boobs are haram!

Also in Western media villains often had more reservations to kill, so good guys have higher bodycount and kill with less wavering than baddies, who take them prisoners or hesitate to kill more.

Westerners, with their hypocritical double standards of morale. hardly an good example.

Strawman.

This is about painting the evil acts of a "hero" as acceptable in modern Manga. What the west does is irrelevant at this time.

But I'm open to having that discussion if you want to take it to a different thread
