erm.. what?

you are supposed to open umod first and then open hearthstone seperatly (using the normal battlenet "play" button) and then umod should detect the hearthstone client and you can add the whorestone package.
...at least it should work that way.

Yeah, thats how It's supposed to work.
However after doing steps 1-5 and opening hearthstone through the battlenet "play" button, hearthstone just opens normally without umod and add package remains greyed out.

so.. you are using version r44, global hook is active, you copied the d3d9.dll into the hearthstone directory, your hearthstone settings are on high, you added the game exe in umod, you started umod first and umod still does not detect hearthstone?

if that's the case i can only offer wild guesses...
that there is a problem with your directx enduser runtime since umod uses the 32 bit version of the d3dx9_3.dll (and well directx 9 in general) but if that one would simply be missing you would get an error on startup... another guess would be a problem with your graphicscard driver that for example something is forcing your hearthstone to start with a directx version incompatible with umod or something... or you're using windows 10 and everything is shit in general *cough*

but again i just spontaniously pulled this "wisdom" out of my behind... :/

Hi guys. Im having problems with the downloads, both the guro and non guro ones. They download at abut 20kb/s (D:) and they stop at about 20 mb in, saying download failed. Does anyone know how to fix this? Ive tried downloading in different browsers but the result is always the same

if you really can't manage to make it work in your browser (even after deleting all cookies, reinstalling and stuff)
you could try an external downlaoding programm like "jdownloader2"
(but you have to be careful about shareware infested installers)

launch jdownloader go to the "linkgrabber" tab press the "add new links" button and feed it:

OK wait, I used a proxy and it downloaded in 20 seconds. So I'm guessing the slow speeds and failed downloads were due to my region somehow

As a Christmas/New Year gift, I've *nearly* finished compiling a list of the codes of every card in HS. There is one catch; the list is only cards I own. In a day or two I'll be done, just got warrior and warlock to go, and I've still got a few League cards to unlock. If you PM me I can send you specific card codes if you are trying to mod your own. I will try to put up a post telling you how to create your own art cards and I will soon enough have the list done for those who can wait. I may post up my pack, it's Eddy's plus some commissions I've got done and pics I've downloaded, but as I can't remember who drew/created them all I may not. But if you're a fan of titfuck pics then PM me and I can point you to them.

DIdn't fix it, hearthstone still opens separately if I open it from blizzard bnet client.
So I can't directly open it via Umod?

What I DID do, was try and gather some art for cards that are either not done yet or could be improved in my eyes. Here is a file with all the art used and previews I cobbled together with the Hearthcards.net card builder. All credit for that art of course goes to the creators.

I have no Idea if this will be useful to this mod's creator, but hopefully it'll give some inspiration to go further on improving this awesome mod! :P

I'm sorry he did not mention you, I am so tried of people doing things like that, I did want to ask if you plan to update this further or if you plan to let others continue the work? if so I will move it to the main Modding Section and out of this Archive.
