Here's a suggestion; this thread is too old (7 years), the first post of this thread does not hold useful info, we changed the modding engine (from umod to sk), and we always have to answer all the questions "how we should setup?" or "how we should start my own modding?".

Would it be worth starting a new thread, with useful anchors in the first page? then we can say "just see the first post".

btw i'm not doing it, i would quit maybe this year with the other life issues

If someone is willing to start a new thread with 'useful anchors' in the first post, I can/will lock this thread, and post a redirect to the new thread. I am not familiar with Hearthstone, so I do not know what posts would be 'useful anchors'.

I definitely think it would be a good idea to make a new thread, not just for setup instructions, but you could also have textures updated on the first page, and maybe a link to the Hearthstone modding Discord Erin Avery made and this script to compare .dds files by rond4yvoo. Netty's upload on page 68 would be the most expansive collection of textures, so including that plus everything posted after would be good. I don't plan on quitting unless the game shuts down so I would make it myself but it'll take me some time to organize my own textures. I'm fine with someone else doing it in the meantime.
