Anyway, here are two images. One was last month during Halloween and the other was my latest work. My first hundred page work! Check it out, for those who miss it.

Next is my gal Celine, the Elf Guardian who protects the forest from nasty Orcs. This one was done quick so you see some clipings and no smile. One on the right is actually not made by me but a man named Y'N'F. She is my most favorite character in his stories he made. He has a on going story called Warrior Adventure she is feature in so be sure to check it out! It's great! I just pray she make it at the end.

Next is Faubek's OC. A good buddy of mine who makes really thicc gals and more into kinda friendly lewd stuff. Whenever that means... Anyway I made this character by my own hands. I could just ask for his character but I've decide to make it my style. I think I did well, what you think? Oh and be sure to check out his works. So thicc!

Sorry to revive an older thread, but I didn't want to make a new thread either! I'm wondering if someone can let me know what I'm doing wrong on installing new maps. I have gotten into making scenes on HS but am sick of the standard maps. As an example, I downloaded EA Sewer Tunnel by ASH. In the folder it has abdata > Studioneo > and two folders, ASH (with the map data) and Honeyselectitemresolver with a text file. I put those files into the top level abdata folder thats next to the exe's such as the studio neo exe. I then downloaded honeyselectitemresolver v1.4 and it can see this map mod, but opening NEO and looking under maps the new map doesn't show up. I feel I'm missing something very basic, as everyone else seems to have no issues with mods. Anyone want to let me know what I'm doing wrong?

Is it illegal for me to create some images with Honeyselect and get sponsored by something like Fanbox? To make my works I need lots of mods made by other people. However, many of the creators forbid the commercial use of their mods at will and I don't have the skills to directly make mods I want.

There are many artists who ignore those forbiddances without any consequences, but most likely it's because mod authors just don't know about those low-profile artists works. But your art would got much more chances to become famouse enough, so the risk would be much higher.

But if there are suitable commercial (non-free) mods - I guess, you would lose nothing by using them. Because I'm sure that your work would got a lot of sales, thus giving you much more than you'd spent.

I think you're right, and I think I should do what you say. But I have a question. There are quite a few people who make money by making images or videos with Blender or SFM. Most of these people use 3D models from other games, I'm guessing they're using models that others have already made. So I thought there was an atmosphere where it was acceptable to use other people's models or mods commercially. What should I do?

You asked what should you do.
Get a copy of DAZ 3D (it's free). It comes with some built-in models that you can use to make your own still images and videos which you can then sell. There are also sites where you can download free legal content to use with DAZ 3D. I've used DAZ for several years to make images and videos in my visual novels.

I don't know much about SFM creative community... But situation looks similar to add-on/replace peds (human models) for GTA, which also in most cases are famous models from other games. Most of the guys who porting models to GTA for free, don't really care what you gonna do with it. Some of them just asking for donation, which is not an obligation. Some may forbid to use their peds for porn, some may forbid commercial use - in those cases they usually clearly state it in description file supplied with the model.
I guess, it works the same for other environments - SFM, Blender, etc... If the guy who ported model to this environment didn't clearly forbid commercial use - then it should be considered as allowed.
But there is something more potentially risky: if the model was created by one author, and the other "author" just ported it to SFM/Blender/etc (which usually is the case if this is a well-known model from other game, Lara Croft for example)- then there can probaly be a problem with original copyright owner... In that case it seems really hard to trace if the particular model is ©-free. Though, I doubt that LaraCroft's owners would got any care about relatively small sales of independent artists . =)

Maybe you will find some answers in "terms of use" of the platform you are going to sale your art at ?
