I'm a tad biased in my vote of DS 2 vs Hyperdimension as an Atlus fan but Devil Survivor 2 has an intricate and well-written plot. Its basically take Persona 4's anime, make it a bit darker and give the plot just a pinch of extra depth and you'll have the feel of Devil Survivor 2. Hyperdimension is more of a straight up "this cute girl seems oblivious but powerful and can do some stuff for the world i guess" sorta feel to it. I feel like you'd probably enjoy either but that's my (slightly biased) 2 cents
