I only want it to be restricted to top left without having four sections if possible.

I understood what you meant, but:

If I change the algo at all, it will break all other mods of the same kind.

Because I'd have to code a new mod.
You could save me the trouble if...

You'll need to manually modify the mods to have four sections then move them around to your liking.

It's quite incredible how you've managed to simply ignore my responses.
If you want to have a go at doing this you can snoop around the source of the mod or something, having a separate mod for the same thing doesn't make sense to me.

I could have a go at coding something to take an image and automatically create a 4 section template from it, shouldn't be too hard.

My apologies, I'm not very experienced in modding. I'm not sure how to look in the source of the mod since I have no Flash program if that's what everyone is using.

Yeah, I would appreciate if you could do that some other time.

Done, it's in the usual place.

Thanks for the trouble! I appreciate it.

I just have to place hair.png, hairadd.png, hairadd mod and hairtool mod in character folder?

HairTools are used to generate the modified images, not to be used as mods.
Take your hairadd PNG and run it through the required tool.

Oh, does this merge 2 imports into one... that's actually really simple and useful.

I see how that works, but when I click the Flat.swf, open it and then select hairadd.png, nothing happens. The tool I'm using is SWF Opener

sorry to keep bugging you with questions

Use an up to date standalone flash player.

EDIT:

What should happen is that you click open, a file selection dialog appears, you select a file then it opens a file save dialog.
This isn't happening most likely because of the player or player version being used.

It works. Thanks!

I don't keep up with forum drama, but does this 4chan business mean we're not going to see a new version of the loader? I just don't know how to interpret the latest additions to the first post.

The answer is obvious.

I don't know, but the whole thing seems as self righteous as infantile can be.

I'm trying to understand this post but fail to see how you've derived this view.
The whole nonsense on 4chan was most likely the result of one disgruntled member posing as multiple anons.
Regardless, the delay in the loader release is just laziness.
I'll try to upload it at some point.

EDIT:
Released.

Hey ModGuy, there's a holdover from the older versions of the loader, such that the nipples are always the light skin version.

Is that a solution or a request for further examples?

Actually, some further testing suggests that it's probably the same problem of skin tones being fixed after changing the alpha settings in the code. Oh well, that's can be fixed by playing with the Custom tab.

Oh, there's another thing. I'm getting this error when I try to change characters using the Scene tab.

Code:
ReferenceError: Error #1065: Variable ::cancelCharSelect is not defined.
	at MethodInfo-9()

Bug needs confirming.
As for it triggering the error, does it happen with vanilla SDT?

Just tried out Loader 5.0c, and I can't use the new hue shifters at all. The files don't appear in the list on the sidebar, and playing with the sliders without anything to select, of course does nothing. Maybe it's a problem on my end? For reference, I load the game with flashplayer_11_sa_32bit.

You should see registered mods under the blank space at the top of the sidebar, if nothing appears it simply means the mod doesn't register itself for hue shifting.
To force enable it you should grab the registerAll4HueShift mod by al1enh0mIn1d:

As for general debugging...
Great that you've included the flash player version but what I really need is the following:

Name of the mod.
Whether the mod supports hue shifting by standard.
Where you found the mod.

It doesn't matter whether the mod supports hue shift natively or not, and registerAll4HueShift doesn't seem to work anymore, either. I tried various mods by TOlive, and Mike, for example: TOlive's Hoodie (filename: Loader_Hoodie_Open), and then, after reopening the loader Mike's Supergirl V3 plus registerAll4HueShift since it doesn't have native support for hue shifting, and the blank space at the top of the sidebar remains blank. All mods come from the loader imports board on this site. Need specific links?
