Derp. :-[

Thanks, ModGuy.

EDIT: Well, it's not like I have the source file for it. If you have a decompiler to recommend that doesn't cost an arm and a leg, I suppose I could do that, but the point of this is so that I wouldn't have to go and make specific fixes.

feeling really dumb, but no harm in asking.
I try to run the loader in Standalone Flash Player and its a blank screen while the play bar flickers all over the place.
Incidentally the game itself doesnt work either.
what do?

I can't create Toggle on/off mod,Like,Toggle him. I want to create SloppyMod or SpitDrool mod with Toggle on/off. But character hair/parts changes too.

Regarding the poll, I figure, (if you want to), that just updating it according to the vanilla .swf every now and then as that goes along, that'd be enough really (I'd be mightily thankful of just that), the loader is already fucking amazing as it is.

If not, well, I'd just like to thank you for the work you've already done.

EDIT: Actually, if you still feel compelled to work on it, but feel tired of it, why don't you just take some time off from making it?
I fucking love modifying Doom for my own enjoyment and curiosity, but I'd go insane if that was all I did, all year around.

Hi,
I voted for, "Only patch SDT.swf as Kona releases new versions."
Ok,but only when important changes are released, like the 1_17b one with new characters.
It's better to keep talented Moders like ModGuy or Faceless for important things!

I hope one day SDT will be perfect,we every characters we voted for,clothes,animations,ass/belly sliders and the like. (If Kona doesn't get "bored" before...)
even then,it will take still some years before getting that level of perfection, this is why I believe keeping the loader patched is the most important, but what would happen if Faceless one day get "bored" too?

According to the poll:

Code:
Update SDT - 14 (35.9%)
Bugfix - 14 (35.9%)
Update Loader + Bugfix - 11 (28.2%)

As I understand it, you'd all be content with the current version of the loader assuming bugs were removed.
You are happy with the features and only really need SDT to be kept up to date.
Poll will be closed by the end of today, somewhere tonight according to GMT.

Would be great if the bugs are fixed as Kona updates his version, but it's up to you. You've been doing excellent job on the loader so far. Thanks

According to the poll.

Code:
Update SDT - 14 (30.4%)
Bugfix - 18 (39.1%)
Update Loader + Bugfix - 14 (30.4%)

Since the two options are tied, it's time for another round!
I'll make it clearer this time.

I vote: "New features"

because I'd absolutely love to see the vanilla character import/export system (".sdt-files") working with the loader.
This I my main reason for not using the loader :-/

you do what makes you happy. i for one that believes that some people get burned out once in awhile. people we need to think about this sometimes people get burned out and want step back and take break. or life change where they do not have time or ability to work on things any more.

According to the poll:

Code:
New features - 20 (87%)
No new features - 3 (13%)

It's pretty clear.
I guess I should work on something.

New tweaks added regarding the broken mods.
Costumes with non-existent paths will either attempt to resolve them or skip without breaking the rest of the mod.
The thigh components can now be offset by the thighX and thighY values specified within Settings.txt in a character folder.

Expect in next release.

Oh yeah, I'm back to the loader.

How will it resolve broken paths? Is it going to be hard-coded, or will there be a paths.txt or something to specify where to try next?

Originally there were hardcoded paths, then I attempted to implement the paths in to Settings.txt but the non-standard format was a hassle.
I'll probably just have a Paths.txt file. It would make much more sense as Settings.txt can be reloaded and loaded from character folders, no point in adding checks for duplicates when I could just avoid the issue completely.
