Boob size and boob physics seem to still work... From what I can tell, all forms of texture replacements don't

I found the issue with the mod and if you dont install the costume geometry mods from winter jackets down to Risa swim wear and the npc costume mods from most females naked down to female kdf crew npc you wont have any problems with getting a nude female. I will also recommend you use a belt until this mod gets fixed completely. I noticed a nasty cut line along the waist line when this mod is active.

Yes. I confirm that you can use all "Clothing Removal Mods" as long as you do not use the "Compiled Mods" which includes the critical "Skirt legs fix" (which fixes the annoying waist seam that now appears.) Certain belts or waist gear will conceal the waist seam, but I'm just going to rough it until password publishes an update.

Cheers

Ditto on the confirmation. But I'm going to do the same as Maggot: wait for the next update. Hopefully soon.

Send him a PM; he's frequently here at GVZ. Last time I checked he was on the site earlier today (25 April)

I'm working on it, this may sound radical but I do occasionally have other, more important things to attend to ;)

Life outside of games? Radical!
Great work on the mod and your efforts are appreciated by this humble player.
Not sure if this is helpful or not:
But I noticed with a "minimal" install, just my toon and Bridge Officers that the new expansion is weird. The new ships are invisible and all the weapon fire, except for topedoes(Gofig) all terminate to some point on screen.
I had these options selected:
- hires hairy
- Clothing removal mods
----------- All female open top mods
- jiggle dynamics.
Skirt fix completely broke the game for some reason, none of it makes sense to me so I leave it to those with a "firmer" grasp of alchemy of modding than I and just shout "What sorcery is this?!" :D
Best Regards,

Hey awsome job on the updates so far. I was wondering, is it at all possible to isolate which parts of the mod stop working whenever sto releases an update and compartmentlize the mod in a way that a user can remove just that part from the game folder or with a setting in the installer so that the majority of the other features still work with the new update? Or is that sort of how you have it right now and you can't really do anythink more to it?

The parts of the mod that can break on update and cause crashes are the *.bin files such as costumegeometry.bin, playercostume.bin, skelinfos.bin, etc. These are always the culprits, texture files and *.mset files (from bin\geobin) never have any problems. It may be useful to add a "Safe Install" that limits things to only these components to, as you say, compartmentalize things to retain basic functionality without crashing. However, Inno Setup which I use to compile the mod installer is not very good at removing existing files when attempting to update an existing install, so a complete uninstall/reinstall (or manual cleaning) is almost always needed to clear out the problematic *.bin files.

In any event, this sounds like a desirable feature to implement, I'll see how it goes.

Ah ok cool. Would there be anyway to have multiple smaller bins themselves that would work in a new update or do the bin files themselves get botched when a new patch gets released?

Some updates just completely overhaul certain .bins rendering old ones completely unsuitable, sadly.

Ah thats unfortunate. Just trying to think of ways to make your job easier for future updates, but I guess pwi has other plans lol.

Btw have you guys noticed that quite often when they have updates they're always changing something with characters. Like how body parts scale or like that one time they decided to change the character textures completely then changed it back, and trying to block off the bottom of certain skirts in one patch then reverting it in the next.

New update is now in the wild, go hunt for it at the first post. The major new feature is a "Safe Install" option for occasions in the future where mods may break, but for now I believe all crashing issues to be fixed and the mods restored to functionality - please file bug reports here if this is not the case.

It's back! JOY!! :D
Did my usual install and everything seems to work. Checked ship customization and that works as well.
I take it that letting the modded skin match the original skin is difficult/impossible?

It requires artwork being done. Our great Password42 is an amazing mod master, but has stated numerous times that his skills in the art department are rather lacking. It will be some time before such a change is possible.

I ran into an issue with the new mod today, where the orion bikini tops are turned off and my orions are topless when they shouldnt be. I have to go back and check the install settings again, but it maybe a bug.

Also this maybe unrelated to the mod but my tail sliders on my catian isn't working. They're stuck on one setting no matter what I do, and I even tried the randomize button.

Ah yes, I know what is causing the first bug.
As for the second, I do not know; do you still have the problem when all mods are uninstalled?
