I'm not quite sure if this is the same issue, but when I was editing the colors of my Elin pirate mod I had a ton if issues with repacking and when it did repack I had an issue with it in game (the characters were semiseethrough with a static look). I also had a few crashes and after 2 days of getting annoyed with Paint.net I moved onto GIMP. It's similar and free and the magic wand is amazing for selecting and recoloring. I will say that factors that came into play was when I was saving and exporting. You have to be careful that 1 the format is correct (can't remember offhand what I set it on) 2 that you don't select the wrong thing (which was a common occurrence with my mods). Tera can be pretty annoying at times (particularly the older files) and it took me 3 days (without help and getting lost in the black hole referred to as youtube) but I eventually figured it out.

Remember that the format must be in .dds format (I'm sure you know this) but be careful, when you save in paint.net if I recall it saves in paint.net format (xls? idk) Gl!

Dumb question: what's the difference between the 1.2 version (for races other than Elin) and the original files, considering nipples don't show in the v1.2? I thought this was the only difference between the de-censored and the original files. Am I mistaken?

Naduron, I notice your post under voices says last edited 2-11. Would those files be the new voices that were updated? (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=igaWKSagyW8)-Youtubelink of the new voices. Idk if it's a troll, but it would be nice to have an update.

Also Saikyo, after you downloaded the version you placed it in your: TERA\Client\S1Game\CookedPC\Art_Data\Packages\CH\PC
TERA directory as a .patched file so it doesn't overwrite your original file? I'm downloading it now and will see if I have the same issue.

I'm not seeing any issues with invisible bodies. I remember that with certain mods when you try to create a new character the body will be invisible. (such as applying the Elin uncensor) Excet in that instance it's only when you select the class. There are other mods that can cause issues, such as the elin ear / tail mod matching mod (where if makes your ear / tail color match the hair color that your select when you make your character). The issue with that mod is when you select certain face template it makes your face black (until you reload your game).

If you installed to the correct directory and made sure that the .GPK file has the correct name you should have done everything properly.

@pop1337 : Ok so, i've do what you say, i've re-download the De-censord, rename the files as .patched files, place them in the good directory.
In the PC folder, i have the .gpk original files and the .patched files.
In the character selection, i've always the same problem. When i choose the High-Elf Female, the body is invisible, and in the character edit, when i choose the dress, she's still invisible.
I really don't understand why it doesn't work for me.
Maybe it's normal to not see the dress in the character edit, maybe the dress appear in game...

A screenshot for confirm i've install the mod correctly.

Examples of dot patched.png TERA_ScreenShot_20140217_161640.jpg High elf example.jpg

Here's what I meant by the .patched sorry my mind has been all over the place recently and I forgot about pictures. In the first screenshot as you can see it has the original .GPK then I have the .Patched. The .patched doesn't really do anything except the way that TERA reads it's files the .patched would load over / before your default files. The .patched also saves you from overwriting / deleting your old files. (I'm pretty sure you don't have to call it .patched, I just used it as a reminder of which files I've modified and when I use UThelper it saves modified files that I injected new .DDS files in as.

The second screenshot is of my creation screen with elins. Though the body doesn't show here, in game it does show. That's just a glitch, but doesn't mean the mod isn't working (if anything could mean it is).

The last screenshot is of the highelf Female creation screen for a robe wearer. As you can see there's no body, and on the left half I selected an outfit (which I assume is the one you're looking for). I don't know if your character in game is missing the body (while you're playing), but having it missing on the character screen is normal. I can't validate whether the mods made a real difference since my high elf is a warrior, but from what I can tell you've installed your files properly. (also make sure you fix the .patched as seen in my screenshot above).

I hope that answers your questions, Sadly I cannot help you any further than this. Good luck.

Ok, that's excactly what i have.
I've not play TERA yet, i install mods before playing.
I thought that the fact to not see the dress in the creation screen meant that we wouldn't see the dress in game.
You reassure me by telling me that's normal.
I gratefully thank you again for your help.

You're welcome saikyo. I hope you enjoy playing TERA as much as I have. Though some of the community can be...erm aggressive jerks (as I can be as well (there is no one that is a 100% angel)), it can be fun and addictive.

Something to note as well....I (probably) have mentioned it before but just in case it was overlooked I will again.

The Elin's "DeCensor Mod" does glitch out, causing the bodies to vanish. I had gotten my hands on a package file a couple years ago that allowed me to use the original Korean files (NOT modifications to the EU files). It has since been "taken down"...but this mod essentially had a toggle that backed up the censored files by renaming them, and then downloading (from a non-disclosed site) the original, uncensored Korean files--of any race. It also had the option to change voice packs from English, to Korean, to Japanese with the click of a button.

That being said, the Elins rendered on the race and class selection screens remained intact and perfectly visible with no glitches

I wish there was someone who could get the Ktera file of the bunny suit. I hate the fact the killbam goes invisible :x

YEa, I just reinstalled it and noticed it occured with the high elf males/ castanics in the blue version (rememebr when you're having an issue to incorporate more specific details on whther it was all or a few). With that being said You can always extract the Bunny suit with cuffs and import tham to the NA Teras files. I'd do it but am not really bothered about the Bam suit... since There's not many people who wear it (which is why it took so long to notice) and as long as I can se their head I can still kill them in bgs.

I have dug around a fair bit but i haven't been able to find any information on modifying the loading screens. I mean the images between instance loads and teleports, not the company logos. I could swear I've had a modded loading screen file before but i can't remember what happened to it. It's easy enough to open the .gpk and replace the images, but i can't find any of the recent contest images or the current images either. The .gpk has a lot of old Ktera images and stuff from back when the pirate stuff was new :X
Current known file for loading screens: LoadingImages.gpk

I also don't know what decides which images are shown, as it's clear they aren't all shown all the time by dice roll.

If anyone knows about this, i would like to work with a lot of stuff . . .
(PS: i wanted to get loading screens from ktera or jtera because i've seen some fancy elin art on peoples' youtube videos and wanted to get them lol. didn't have any luck finding, my version of ktera doesn't have anything besides the base laoding screens and alliance loading screens in the LoadingImages.gpk)

Hello, and sorry if i ask for something asked recently or on past posts. I changed to Tera Enmasse and there, costume stuff is different than EU ones, i mean, they're hard to find, then, i want to know if it's possible to change one costume Mod into another one, so i can watch my char as i want with another or cheaper costume, is that possible? ty :)

Doing that Is harder now than it used to be. For example, when I started playing back in feb 2012 I learned that Tera US never got the Santa costumes. At the time the other costumes looked pretty bad (for my tastes). Then I found out that someone took the Santa files and injected them into the Elin 2012 swimsuit files (which the yellow version was really cheap ~ 600g-1000). It worked perfectly and had no issues (except the pink / blue versions were santa suits). Today's Costumes though use the same resource files at times. For example, when Aria tried to modify the Devilicious costumes, the result had been an edit to the other classes and a hole in high elf females (since they didn't have the mesh).

Idk about all of the newer costumes, but from what I've seen they seem to be sharing some files. You can always post a request for a mod in the requests section (remember there's a few depending on what it is, such as an adult vs basic mod) Specifying what costume you have, and what you want to replace it with. You also can try to import the files for your desired mod. (Such as the mesh, default, skeleton and whatever else I forgot).

Good luck Miguel

I have a few questions about these mods:

Will these mods work with Tera US? If not, where can I find compatible mods?

Where can I find good armor edits for all classes/races that would be compatible with these?

Apologies in advance. I'm new to the forums and modding Tera.

Yes these are for TERA US. Make sure you install to the correct directory, and don't overwrite your original files. there's plenty of guides how to do so, also note that 2 different mods that affect the same resource file will not load simaltaneously. TERA will pick one or the other, so basically if you have 2 mods that will affect Basic starter gear it will choose one or the other. It WILL NOT load partials from both, and if you want 2 mods to work together you will have to Extract the files from one and inject them into the other. I've done this and the process can take about 2 mins if you have the hang of it and 10 + depending on how many files and such.

^ in short, TERA uses .GPK format files. the .GPK extension is basically their compression format, sort of like a .ZIP or .RAR format that is more common. There are guides and such on how to extract the files (.DDS (image files)) and Import along with a simple decompressor program Called UThelper. The process is extremely simple all you need is a bit of patience.

A side note:
(Also I cannot /will not make a simplified .GPK that combines mods simply because I don't have a mediafire/ upload site account. I actually haven't done any of that social junk in spite of all i know. Had I the knowledge / inspiration I would start making tutorials and other guides so I could simply link it for you guys and upload files of course).

Sorry for my bad English.
What exactly does the v1.2 patch?
Copy your files and not notice anything in my castanic character created before installing the patch.
Just note changes in the character creation menu.
thanks
