Better Stats 2.0.0 has been released.

  • New features:
    • Compatibility fixes up to 1391.
    • Added a settings system, integrated into the options menu (NOTE: Only a few settings are currently available, many more are planned in future updates).
    • Reverted the "integrated UI" wherever possible.
    • Party pings are now blue.
    • Guild pings are now green.
    • Added party/platoon member highlighting by right clicking the member's name, highlighted members get an orange name in the party and in their nametag, orange health bar, orange radar icon and orange pings.
    • Pings and pins have colored arrows pointing in their direction.
    • Monster nametags now include the obtained knowledge grade.
    • Improved knowledge grade look on current target.
    • Display horse tier next to the horse name when a horse is the current target.
    • Added a setting to highlight monsters on the radar below a knowledge grade.
    • Alliance members who are not part of your guild will now have a family name glow instead of appearing neutral, glow is set to the same color as a teammate (RBF/AoA).
    • Doubled the range at which pings will be visible in the world when not browsing the world map.
    • Fixed "Health" fitness tooltip not showing MP given by the stat.
    • Added detailed exp percentages to fitness levels in the character info screen and raw exp values to the tooltips of each fitness level.
    • Enabled party member direction arrows on the radar in platoons.
    • Hidden the "guide" button from chat.
    • Reduced the visibility priority of mount icons on the radar.
    • Added a setting to hide quest arrows from the radar.
    • Added a setting to toggle the N E S W direction letters on the radar.
    • Disabled always-visible fairy/pet/maid icons (when you don't own a fairy/pet/maid).
    • Disabled sub-lv50 effects imposed on the Season button in the top right of the screen (reward available flashing still enabled).
    • Added compact quest list, setting included, off by default.
    • Changed the behavior of the "Agris Fever" icon, animation is removed, the icon is yellow when enabled, grey when disabled.
  • Fixes and optimizations:
    • Fixed some radar icons not being centered properly (you're welcome PA).
    • Fixed some radar icons not being rotated properly with the rotating radar (you're welcome PA).
    • Optimized player health bar/radar colors.
    • Optimized damage numbers workaround.
    • Optimized radar player/monster icons code.
    • Fixed guild members page errors (you're welcome PA)
    • Fixed the issue where players' family name glow color (and related functions) would sometimes not function for party members and guildmates (a game bug, can't be fully fixed).
    • Fixed the loading screen being dark.
    • Fixed main quest position shifting when the widget size changes (you're welcome PA).
    • Disabled the "better equipment" notification in the bottom right as it is redundant and did not function correctly.
  • Known issues:
    • The graphs in the trade manager interface are disabled (however hovering over where the graphs are supposed to be should still display the relevant data)
    • The "Season Reward" dialog button might not have text sometimes.
    • The dialog is a bit quirky, the chat/exchange options don't update after interaction, pressing R selects the top chat/exchange option instead of continue (which may lead to actions such as wasting energy, even if the dialog option is supposed to be gone).
    • When an NPC offers both main and non-main quests, even if all the main quests are in progress while there are new non-main quests available, pressing R opens the main quests list.
    • Black spirit quest filtering needs improvement.
    • Right clicking item enhancement materials from inventory causes the game to freeze for a few seconds when the black spirit dialog opens, and every time the dialog is reloaded (when pressing "go back").
    • The profile and ranking menus are missing newer lifeskills.
    • The mount information menu does not support skill locking.
    • Probably some other things I forgot to note.

I know not everyone would like the UI reverted, especially with newer features missing, I do plan on allowing you to toggle this wherever possible but this may come at the cost of certain tweaks as I've yet to mod any of the newer UI.

Hello, thank you for the update. The only issue now is the Exit(Esc) button doesnt work. So we are stuck in the npc dialog.

looks great, though I still hate the old UI and loading screens, would love to be able to turn it off. But loving the extra options! And the super speedy updates are great too

Thank you very much for your work. It's been very nice using this mod again. I noticed you made some changes to the boss camera, would it be possible to add some settings to add more options for the camera, like increased FoV? Or a way to have the boss camera on all the time? Also would it be possible to have the names / health bars of players wearing a ghillie showing? I saw a screenshot of something you posted a long time ago of a picture in RBF, and you had the players gear-score also showing on their health bar. Is this something that can still be done? If so do you have any plans on implementing it? Do you know if it would be possible to add some sort of effect, or circle around a target to display what would be the area you can get back attacks more clearly?

It seems after the latest update, 2.5.7, I am not able to feed my workers. It also seems like all the misses aren't showing on attacks. It seems rather then showing say, an attack hits 3 times, then misses 4 times, it might show the damage of those 3 hits, then nothing else. I've noticed this at higher end grind spots like Oluns, and Crypt of Resting Thoughts, places where missing a lot is common. Other then that, Better Stats has been great! Thanks for keeping it updated this long! I know you said you were having a hard time enjoy the game now. I'm not sure if you've seen the latest global lab patch, but they've changed the JIN / Core awakening skills to have a new effect. So it seems like the developers felt the same way you did on that issue. Also, a feature I'd like to ask about for Better Stats. Would it be possible to get some more in depth info on combat and skill EXP? Possibly something like floating text EXP values, for kills. Kind like how the damage numbers look, but off to the side showing EXP. I really love this project, and I'd love to see more features added, but I am still very grateful for having this at all.

Misses don't always show since months ago, the usually do, but when they don't relogging tends to address that, unless they changed something and just never send miss information anymore, which I've not tested.
Adding support for additional value messages for combat/skill EXP will take a lot of work since PA's code is messy, if I do work on that, it won't be anytime soon.

Worker feeding will be fixed in the next update, I'll also add an option to enable the new worker interface but it would be untested and potentially broken.

I don't know anything close to the amount UndercoverPervert does, but I might be able to point you into some sort of direction. If you use something like the PAZ Brower to view the games files. You will find a folder called luacscript. This folder contains tons of luacs that are used to different parts of the game. Luac are compiled lua files, and will need to be decompiled to view them. I used this this website, to decompile the extracted luacs from the PAZ Browser. As far as editing the luas to edit the camera distance, I know nothing about that. Another issue I know little about. Would be the process of recompiling the lua after you have made changes to it. I hope I could be of some help!

Nice im assuming you play. ya i just wanted to hide the UI in photomode and then just display my CD's and what not while in that mode. That camera doesnt seem as janky as the "normal" one.

It seems to be half-broken in the latest patch. Some options works, some don't. Most of the time, it makes it unplayable, cus stuff just breaks. Until it has been fixed, i'm afraid i have to uninstall it :(

Seems to work better now, but glitches out in conversations. No button seems to work after talking (having all UI and General toggled off, maybe it breaks?). Also claims that i'm lvl 99? xD

I have read, and seen snapshots on BDO discords, that the mod does work on the new server.

I do not know anything about DAT mods. The new anti cheat system, from what I have read, does not detect Metainjector, if you leave it in your Paz folder. It more forgiving to mod BDO, than Xigncode, so far.
