1st: Thank you Naduron for your hard work!

2nd: When I click the download link, it show ver 1.2 in the filename. Even within the archive it says 1.2 for the folder and the "Mod Info.txt" says "Revision: 1609 ReleaseDate: 2012-01-13 2:48:12". I searched the whole topic to see if i can find the right download link, cause this seems to be the wrong one, but I can not find it

EDIT: Um this seems to be the error... had to screenshot it to make it visible cause even with

Swap file name, for example H with R. Then hexedit it and swap some H and R too.
I think you have to swap the animations too, I haven't tried the animations yet. You can read infinity496s tutorial on how to do it.

Could you elaborate a bit more please? I'm trying to swap a castanic leather for a castanic robe. The way I understand what you said is... I have to rename "Castanic_F_R.gpk" to "Castanic_F_L.gpk" and vice versa (ie: "swap file names"). THEN edit both files, swapping all the L's with R's and vice versa? That is, all the _skel's etc..("hexedit it and swap H's and R's") Did I read you correctly?

Come awwwn people, I cant be the only one trying this! Robes are awesomely moddable!

Looking for the same thing as Killercat, apparently no one else noticed.. This might be why so many people are having troubles getting the uMod thing to work. It has to do with the de-censor file being listed as v1.4.... click on the link and you get v1.2

I downloaded the 7 day trial to attempt some hair modding to get rid of updos for all us who love long hair. But I realized the current hex editing modding is really nothing else than renaming folders that the game is already pre-programmed to look for.

So I can't prevent it from changing hairstyles, but I can modify which hairstyles I have. Which means there are two alternatives to do.

1) Pick a hairstyle that has no updo option, swap your favorite hair to it, and you got hair that will never change on armors.

Cons of this is of course that you won't have others see that hair online, so everyone else will talk with you like you were wearing short hair and in the case of horns/ears, they'll think you have a different kind than you see. This also do not work as a solution if you already have a high level character with long hair that you wanted to "fix" for your endgame armor choice.

2) You can also just swap the updo with normal hair option. The benefit of this is that you do not have to choose another hairstyle and perhaps re-roll to get rid of your updo hair.

Cons on the other hand is that if you are at low levels and change armor often, then it would require swapping file each time you go between updo and not updo armors.


I'll link to a Elin updo swap file.

And if someone can find the bug in it, I'd be grateful. Somehow I managed to remove updos completely from hairstyle 00 (long hair fox girl). I'd love to repeat it on the others, but I can't see what I would have done different.

You have to make the adjustments to your files on your computer...

Fixed it.

It looks like the version in the 1st post is still v1.2. I'm guessing that's why I can't seem to get it to work.
This mod looks great though! Hope I can use it soon.

Hiho i cant get the bikini mod for elin to work can somebody help?
if i strip my armor i got the starter armor on.

i just replaced the bikini mod and started the game did i miss something?

Yeah, you've got to use the Equipment Remodeller NPC and select the Tier 2 chest as template. This is now the bikini mod. If you want the default 'stripped' armor to look like that, http://gamevixenzone.undertow.club/resource-modding-17/guide-how-swap-armors-tera-141/ has the information :)

Does anyone know a trick for adding bytes back into a file? I tested swapping genders so it should be possible to do but I'm trying to swap one race for another (turning Humans into Elins) But I'm losing 1 byte from the name as Popori is 1 letter longer than Human and over the course of the big files it is hundreds of bytes that I need to add back in, I've been trying to add them in at various points as just null values without any success. Thanks in advance for any help that anyone is able to give ^_^
