something im working on! =) the zako from growl(runark) what should i do with them, mind you im into the zako's getting killed.

Well, for a beat-em-up Runark was pretty brutal. Any fight scenes from the game would make good death scenes pretty much. In most beat-em-ups a lot of the time you're just KOing people except when you use certain weapons or their fates are pretty ambiguous. Runark has a lot of guns, knives, explosions with gore, and animal tramplings to go with those retro panty shots.

I got an interesting idea..How about one zako being bayonetted, and the weapon (unrealistic brute force) forced through and(or firing from inside out through back tissue) into another zako.

That would be great....
Some PC games allow you to change models by swapping files in their folders. Like True Crimes: New York City, that allows you to change your model or NPC in that method. However, newer games, like Watchmen, can't be modified in that way because the files are compressed. Thus, it needs hacking skills to change files, that is beyond my knowledge.

Some games in GTA series, allow you to change model with cheat codes too.

Charlie's Angels has zako in swimsuit, maid, soldier and mini skirt soldier right? Their cartwheel attack are very good for zako. Effective and fun to watch.

Correct. I played the game once, but it really is a play-once type of game. I tried playing it recently, but man... the horror.

We should not forget the zako in Perfect Dark (mission 3: extraction).


There's even a HD remake of that game, but screens are Rare (sorry for the pun).



I think I could get some screens from the N64 version. It would be great if someone has the HD.

stumble upon an indie Japanese game called Wired Soul, you can download it from here (note in Japanese, just find that big green button to download) the stage design and animation is weak, but fairly good character design.

oh yeah forgot to tell you, some nice looking female zakos. They remind me of Crest of Wolf female zakos, but prettier.

A freeware remake of Target Renegade, of course it no Double Dragon Neon but not bad quality.

EDIT: iOS version but its not free and its called Tracking Renegade. The PC version is by default set in 8-bit graphics

Hey nagato, is that wired soul game still being updated and is there a full version?

I doubt there is a full version is available. Apparently, the author came from this website Wired Soul Website its in japanese and I cant find any indication this game is still in progress. Hopefully the sprites can be ripped and put them on Beats of Rage engine. The female zako voice is cute when defeated...

@olala I am having difficulty executing combos...very tricky.
