Someone posted an anime called "Yami to Boushi to Hon no Tabibito", specifically mentioning that episodes 8 and 9 has some zako. I did some digging, and found out that it's a yuri anime based on a visual novel of the same title. I'm not into yuri that much, but I did get the episodes and scanned for zako scenes. Unfortunately the subbed ones I found are kind of crappy in terms of video quality.
The story is about a girl who is looking for her adopted sister, who has wandered into the worlds contained in books. In episodes 8 and 9, they enter a Japanese book. Some ninjas want to steal a comb belonging to a princess (who looks suspiciously like the sister).
Here, a harmless looking village girl reveals herself to be a kunoichi leader.

A kunoichi employs the oldest trick in the book to distract guards.
Her other friends take the opportunity to take down the guards. The neck snap move would be familiar to people who have played Tenchu, albeit this one doesn't go all the way to twist the head 180 degrees. Which is pretty insane.
