Can you give me some timestamps. I skimmed the movie and didn't see much of aftermath shots (which is what I'm into)

I have this one clip from a similar movie where two men strangle a guard with a whip and hide her body in a barrel, when they lift her up she looks like she is completely bare assed under her skirt. The clip is so grainy you can't see anything. Apparently the clip is from a movie called Battle of the Amazons which I think is a different movie from this one (I skimmed this movie and did not find the scene) I would LOVE a high quality version of that movie but it appears to have been nuked from the internet entirely.

I watched zepe 49 and I know why many people don't like this one.

The strength of zepe 48/49 was having some 20 actress, but the directors use this improperly and this became the major weakness. Back to basic: what is the advantage of 20 vs 8 actress? It is not that we can see the heros and 20 zakos in one shot. The size of the screen and resolution make this simply unappealing. Many want to see zakos without mask, a real individual. It could be in groups of 6-8 and have longer fights and death scene. In each group, only the face of a few zakos could be seen clearly and the rest are either too far and/or too fast. This will allow the creation of at least 5-6 groups without apparent "re-use" of zakos, making it very different from previous combatant movies and will be a big selling point.

I think the 1st part is pretty bad, the 2nd part is a bit better than the first one but still not as good as I expected. They make lots of explosion scenes in both films and I don't really interest in this feature, I believe most of ppl are concerned on the fighting scenes in the combatant's film and they don't make anything new in the fighting scenes of combatant film for few years. I feel some of the camera movements in the fighting scenes of 2nd part is a bit unclear and the number of heroines actresses are too much, although several unmasked scenes are good in my opinion, but I think they need more creative features in the fighting scenes. I feel Zen is running out of good action actress year-by-year and hard to make some action scenes good as before, if they want to make a move on the combatant films, I think they need to figure out some new combatant outfits and fighting scenes rather repeat the traditional outfits and ideas from the past combatant films.

I think I'm close to your feeling. The thing is, we are interested in fight and how the zako is represented and defeated. Which is the biggest problem, we dont believe anything, compare to Wrestling or Sentai shows, where the choreography is important, here, nothing touch to avoid to hurt the actress. The action goes too fast and stay too long on the girl twitching. then it's more my opinion, I hate the brainwash, the fact that they want to show schoolgirls, and the rape which this film have less than the others.
Positive point, some actions are ok and I like the outfit and They drop the "hiiiiiii" sound thank goddess

Aha I don't like the brainwash scene too, but they start to put this scene in most of their combatant films many years ago, and yes there is limitation on the action scene design due to the ability of their actress just like many other studios, but it looks like they spend most of their camera lens only on twitching nowadays, I think they should film something differences other than twitching the whole film :P

Battle of the Amazons (1973) – Rarelust

I have it on dvd but the quality is horrible, same as link. There is the scene you mentioned and another good scene when they attack the amazon water cart. The battle at the end is all men wearing amazon masks, its so bad you can see their mustaches. I think the same director made both these films. They are similar and share much of the cast.

Amazons vs supermen still has one of the best body piles ever put on film though when they pile up the amazons.

Oh yeah, that bodypile is great at the end. The main villain has a really stupid death scene, just trips and falls into a little fire and dies immediately.

There is a whole DVD of Battle of the Amazons up there too, VOB files and all.

This one is pretty bad, but still sharing it maybe someone likes it. Lots of chinese zakos shot in a base by infiltrator cop lady. The actresses are really bad though, they just lie down on the ground slowly and don't show any emotion whatsoever when shot, the grunts and sound effects are added in post production.

some "girls" really are men.

kinda felt like it. some did seem a little "flat-chested" in the parts where the amazons are recieving the exact same punishment you would see on male goons. still, the very idea they are genuine women getting this kind of beat down is a real turn on, as long as the dudes pass well enough for women in the scenes i don't care if they actually use dudes for the more "serious" stunts.
