whenever I try to look at the animtools tutorial it randomly skips ahead like every 2 seconds and makes the whole unwatchable

A question about MoreClothingV5_1 mod. After the mod finished loading, there's a text displayed at top right corner saying "moreclothingV5_1 done, XX" while I assume XX is the number of mods processed. However the clothing and char code keeps on cycling for sometime longer until it finally stopped with "Ball and Chain" selected at ankle slot, red skin color, yellow eyes, black blush. How can I stop this from happening, or at least have it stop at default SD Chan?

hmm, guess i haven't really documented what the settings do.

+extractvanillapiecesenabled=0, enables the original feature of the mod. vanilla mods loaded after moreclothing get placed on menus
+registerforhueshift=0, extracted mods from previous setting are also registered on loaders hue shift menu
+savebodymodscharstring=1, 'generate' code on modding menu includes entries for body mods

+fasthideloading=1, hides stuff on screen so things load faster
+fasterbutlesscoolhideloading=0, hides even more than fast hide loading, but less entertaining
+usesimpleloadingalg=1, assumes all mod pieces to a mod are loaded in the same file
+loaddefaultcodeaftereachmod=0, will reset the girl after each mod is loaded. tends to slow down loading
+loadthroughtitle=1, moreclothing will load even if sdt's intro title is up
+allowoverwritingbody=1, allow body mods that use the overwrite feature

+shufflehair=0, enables extra hairs to be included in shuffle (not sure why this is not default on...)
+shufflebg=1, enables extra backgrounds to be included in shuffle
+shufflebody=0, enables things on the body menu to be shuffled (i think i only have 1 item be randomly chosen)

what you described seems weird, as that message should only appear when things are complete... unless you happen to be also using the character folder feature of the mod. if that is all of your settings for moreclothing itself, then it sounds like you are loading a character folder with moreclothing things to load afterward

the character folder feature sort of a hacky attempt, not sure if i have it reset sd chan after it has loaded
ideal solution would probably be having a setting to load a specific char code after moreclothing has finished loading

It still happening even if Mods.txt contains only MoreclothingV5_1 (the only mod called from init). If there's something else loading from character folder, I don't see it. I always exit Loader after Reset and manually reloading SD Chan (SDT seems to try to load last character before exit).

EDIT:
Hmm, do you mean by "character folder feature" is having a separate setting file in the mods folder instead of the Settings folder?

I do have moreclothingV5_1settings.txt inside $INIT$ instead of Settings. Dunno why but the last moreclothing I've used is v1.2, and have the settings inside $INIT$, and it work flawlessly. Moving v5.1 settings to Settings folder do solve the problem though.

And v5.1 do load tons faster than v1.2. Excellent job.

Also, having "extractvanillapiecesenabled" turned on doesn't interfere with loading dynamic hair anymore, yay. Though I have to wonder whether having all previously loaded dynamic hair in a session available in the "Custom/Hair" tab settings a blessing or a curse.

Okay, this has been bugging the hell out of me for the past few days:

I often use the [LOAD_CHARCODE] function in dialogues to switch the girl's appearance up mid-dialogue, but for the last two weeks items in moreclothingbody, as well as the data from superbreastsize and superbellysize have just stopped functioning.

Well, that's not completely true. Every time I use "da.charcode.load" and have the superbellysize data tacked on at the end, I see the belly's change appear for about half a second and then just completely revert back to zero, because when I generate the updated code, the "superbellysize" comes up as '0'.

Anybody have an idea about what might be happening here?

i also believe that dialogactions uses an internal copy of the charcode load (unless this has changed since like forever ago). so kinda weird if moreclothing body mods, superbelly or super breast data would even load through that method when you use that in the first place.

That's the weird part though.
Until recently I could just load the new moreclothing/superbelly/superbreast settings automatically during a dialogue by having a line a simple as this mid-dialogue:

sby told you why. Two weeks ago, you installed a new mod (and/or changed a mod setting, or adjusted the mod-loading order), which disrupted the [g.inGameMenu.loadData] proxy.

For example, my own "breastSculpt" mod is very unstable, and it relies on the same proxy. So if you had recently installed breastSculpt then it would be an obvious suspect for your technical difficulties.

So ... tell us which change you made. Or upload your mods folder. And then we'll try to diagnose the problem and offer assistance.

Alternatively: differential debugging. Try commenting-out lines in your $INIT/Mods.txt file (other than DA and SuperBreast) until DA+SuperBreast starts working again. Then selectively reenable them until you identify the broken one.

The only changes I recall making during that timeframe was updating from DA4.00 to DA4.01 and moreclothingv5 to v.5_1 (and then reverting back to version 5.0 when all my moreclothing mods went completely bonkers on me after it finished loading).

I'll try differential debugging it first when I have a little free time (I get stingy about uploading folders instead of textfiles, so hopefully I'll be able to solve this problem without doing that).

upload your loader folder and i can see if i can solve this repeating loop. thought i had this solved previously but i guess there are still things that can mess shit up.

Hey Sby, I was wondering if it was possible to take a couple mods you have built into breastexpansion and release them separately? Specifically the 'Wince on cum in mouth' and 'Penis Distance Expansion Stuff' as it says in the breastexpansion settings.

the wince on thoat cum would be easy to gab the code for, the other one not as easy. would be kinda weird to have just the penis expansion stuff for a separate mod anyway xD.

Hi sby, thanks for your work and thanks too to everyone else that has made SDT so excellent.

I wonder if a mod could change behavious under AUTO mode to increase the frequency of the girl licking the cock and the balls? They are fairly realistic things for the start of a blowjob and can be used to trigger more dialogue and actions.

This issue was reported on the previous page of this thread, in relation to the SuperBelly mod (which is similar to BreastExpPlus). It is "just how the mod works" because the new body shapes were drawn with the Light skin tone serving as the fill color.

Here's a quick-and-dirty edit of the BreastExpPlusV2_4 files, which aims to achieve the same effect as the aforementioned changes to SuperBelly. It provides support for switching of skin tones (via the in-game GUI selector, and via CharCode loading or character-switching). It provides rudimentary support for skin tan settings, although only "None" and "Full" tans are properly supported (because the others would require me to draw custom tanlines across bellies of various sizes, and I'm much too lazy to do so).

You will still need the original files from sby's zip archive - especially the Settings file. The attachment below is a "patch" which is intended to replace the SWF. It is not a standalone mod. It also hasn't been extensively tested, so please let me know if you encounter any obvious errors or faults.
